Close location to everything we needed, lovely pool

Doors to Villa weren’t anywhere near sealed so we had heaps of mosquitos and ants entering through the large gaps

Lovely property. Completely privacy and very quiet. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was great. The staff were very friendly and picked us up to get to the property.

Nothing really to complain about, the only thing was we couldn’t get the TV working, but they sent someone to help us in the morning.

It was peaceful and beautiful! Our hosts were wonderful and so helpful and friendly!!! Wayan a.k.a Angus was so lovely!

The villas themselves were quite nice and well maintained. It’s a nice little village, easy to walk around and good restaurant and massage options.

When booking, we let the host know we would arrive between 10-11pm and were told someone would meet us with a key. We arrived to the village and our driver explained only scooters could go in further and the accommodation would normally meet guests outside with scooters. We tried repeatedly calling on WhatsApp and messaging via booking.com and couldn’t get hold of anyone. Instead we wheeled our suitcases alone in the rain and dark eventually finding the villa (after a few wrong turns) only to find it padlocked shut. We were starting to think we may need to leave and find somewhere to stay when a local came and assisted and was able to track down the owner. They came and let us in to Villa 1 which our teen/adult kids were sharing but it turned out villa 2 was an 6-8 minute walk away which we had not expected. Eventually we were let into both villas close to midnight and we didn’t see or hear from the hosts again through our 3 night stay (although we did notice they came by at times to clean).

We purchased an airport pickup and Yana picked us up from the airport and handed over the keys conveniently. The helpers (Vayank and Mahindra) were so kind and helped us with our luggage and commute to our hotel on our check in and check out. Vayank also lend us his bike to commute to our hotel from the meeting point on our check in day. Pool was also good and maintained, cleaning was done duly.

1. Lizards Were all over our villa especially in the kitchen are we saw at least 8 lizards at the same time. W did not get to enjoy the Kitchen. Some were also present near the pool area and in the bathroom. The helpers said it is good for the house and they cannot remove it but it was so inconvenient for us to go into the kitchen. 2. The AC wasn't cooling perfectly given the hot weather. But it did not bother us that much.

El apartamento está increíble. La piscina, el jardín, las habitaciones, los baños.. hasta el desayuno es de 10. Los anfitriones fueron muy amables y muy atentos. Si vuelvo a Ubud volvería a coger este apartamento sin dudarlo.

No se puede acceder en coche hasta el apartamento. Hay que andar unos 10 minutos para llegar. Si estás joven no hay problema, la calle está llena de tiendecitas y es agradable, pero para personas mayores o con movilidad reducida quizás no tiene la mejor accesibilidad.

Private little oasis

No access by car but Gojek were great to use

It was private and quiet. We had breakfast cooked for us each day. The pool was lovely (but cold!) The bathrooms are huge and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

The villa itself was a 6-8 min walk from the main road. We did not realise it was only accessible on foot or by bike/scooter or we would not have stayed here. The rooms in the villa (apart from the bathrooms) are not connected together internally. To get to the kitchen or the other bedroom you had to go outside and walk. Was not ideal for us as a family. The path to connect the rooms has steps in it, it is not well lit at night (I almost fell over) and in the rain it’s slippery. There was no lock in the actual front door - the lock was an archaic chain and padlock that went around the door handle and you could only use it if you were out. At night it was locked from the inside only. While we had wifi, the tv did not have any internet connection to it so we could not use it for Netflix etc.
