Altera Cave Villas

Just about everything, the place itself, the location, the view, the quiet, friendly and helpful staff. The architecture of the villas makes you feel as if you were alone on the hill, amazing. The pool is a fine addition and it is really well kept.

We stayed in villa Terra. The pool and the view are sublime. There’s a great beach down a short set of stairs. The view and the solitude. It was very quiet, great for relaxing and we slept amazingly. The option for a breakfast being delivered to your patio (for a small extra cost) was a bonus, and delicious. We loved everything about our stay, and wished we could stay longer. Be careful though, if you think you might explore the area, there is a very real danger you’ll not go anywhere once you arrive! We were there 5 nights and didn’t leave expect to go to the market!

That we had to leave? One downside is the distance to the nearest supermarket, which was at least a half hour away. Good idea to make sure you have enough supplies before arriving. It’s a bit of a trek to get to Altera, so you definitely need a car. Be careful on some of the roads around the area, some are like goat tracks.

High Level Support

Very peaceful. No other tourists in sight. Beatiful view. Private beach. 10/10 getaway to relax and enjoy the view. Small shop with the essentials just 5 min drive away.
