Blue Door Villa, Central Canggu

Everything was lovely (except shame about the pool), beautiful villa, excellent location, clean and comfortable.

We chose this villa largely for the pool. Unfortunately the pool was not in a clean and usable state for the entire 4 days of our stay, and while the villa owner and manager were responsive and tried to rectify the situation it could have been resolved earlier.

We stayed at Blue Door Villa for four nights and couldn't have been happier. The villa is located in a central location within walking distance to all the restaurants and bars in Canggu. It's a short walk down to the beach to enjoy a beautiful sunset. The villa has spacious bedrooms with lovely outdoor bathrooms, and, an indoor living area that is ideal to take a break from the heat. This was priceless travelling with two young kids. Kadek managed our stay and is an absolute credit to the villa. Nothing was an effort for him, and I can't thank him enough for his amazing work in helping out with a surprise dinner at the villa. I would recommend the Blue Door Villa to anyone travelling to Canggu.

- location was excellent, right in the centre of Canggu but tucked away down a quiet road. - villa was exactly as pictured. The huge sofa was so comfy - it was raining during our stay so the TV having Netflix was a huge bonus. - the host very kindly sent us croissants during our stay from his restaurant! - beds were super comfy and the rooms were huge - easily able to get 3 couples with room to spare! - when we got there the pool had a bamboo fence around it that was swiftly taken down, but good for any families with young children. - extra bean bags in the rooms for sunbathing - the manager of the property was super nice! Came to clean promptly every day and was contactable at all times, as well as the property owner. We loved our stay and originally only booked for 2 nights. We ended up booking an additional 2 nights. Loved it!
