Lovina Beachhouse Villas

The property was quite worn out. It is not exactly beach front the villa we had , rather second line. The water was smelly , probably coming out of a well. We got only one time cleaning of the villa for 3 nights stay and the pool was filled with way too much chemicals.

Location for a beach escape was excellent. The private pool was well enjoyed. Restaurants and basic shopping were a short walk away. We liked our cohabiting crab in the lower bathroom.

The air conditioning filters were clogged up and need cleaning. After I removed most of the crud buildup, they worked better, but the filters themselves need to be removed. Sleeping under it blowing allergenic dust was not pleasant. The mattress was very hard in the lower bedroom and the cushions and pillows are due for replacement, being old. A ceiling fan would be a good addition to the downstairs lounge. There were no soap or shampoo provided.

Esperienza bellissima. Abbiamo soggiornato a Lovina per una settimana per partecipare al Campionato Mondiale di Vovinam (arte marziale) che si svolgeva nel territorio di Buleleng. Avere una casa, in perfetto stile balinese, tutta per noi, con una magnifica piscina e dirimpetto al mare ci ha permesso di vivere pienamente lo spirito di Lovina, con i nostri ritmi. A pochi passi (letteralmente) c'è una buonissima warung dove abbiamo potuto fare o colazione, o cena o semplicemente prendere un cocktail serale. In 10 minuti a piedi si arriva in centro Lovina (la stradina sul mare è un po' dissestata e buia, ma assolutamente percorribile e tranquilla anche di sera; mentre di giorno è piacevole camminare ed incontrare sorrisi ed inviti -sostenuti ma non invadenti- alle attività locali).

Need a fan in living area, when it rains water comes through the roof and floods the bathroom, twice this happened,

It is on the beach, lovely location.

Crazy floor plan, dirty and worn, showers don’t work, bed is hard as a rock, access to the property is long and impossibly narrow, construction noise all day long, management was pleasant but ineffective. We left after one night and forfeited two more prepaid days; it was that bad. We moved over to the Lovina Beach Club and Resort which was a four star experience for almost half the price.

Nice quiet stay, close to the beach

Die Verbindung von antikem exotischen Holzhaus mit modernen Elementen traf genau meinen Geschmack. Alles wirkte luftig und großzügig, der Pool auf der Rückseite des Hauses war sehr angenehm und super gepflegt, ebenso der Garten. Wir hatten abends Besuch von einem kleinen Flughund, was uns völlig fasziniert hat!😁 Der direkte Zugang zum Strand ließ echtes Beachhouse-Feeling aufkommen. Im Haus gibt es herrlich viele Sitzgelegenheiten zum Chillen. Zum Frühstück sind wir zum wenige Schritte entfernten Warung geschlendert, weil das so schön war, mit Blick aufs Meer. Wir würden die Villa jederzeit wieder buchen. Das Personal war angenehm, total lieb und diskret.

Ein bisschen umständlich war, dass man vom oben gelegenen Schlafzimmer eine Treppe wuff es er runter musste zum Bad. Aber der Ausblick von da oben ließ das vergessen.

The location is in a quiet spot, but close to the centre of Lovina.
