Royani Villa

The Villa looks nice and is pretty comfortable. Sleeping in the bed was quite comfortable. The owner and staff were always very helpful and friendly. Also the pool was nice.

Its a Villa so be prepared that you will meet insects in your room. We had a toxic centipede in the bath room and a big (harmles) spider in the room. The door was hard to handle due to weather conditions, so we only used a part of it (sliding doors). Its very noisy as the doors and walls are not sealed or thick. You can hear the neighbors showering or talking. The cleaning was not very convincing. Sometimes the trash was emptied, sometimes only half the trash was emptied. Also the mugs and glasses were never cleaned (i cannot remember if it was our own part to clean it). During our whole stay the floors or facilities were never cleaned or maybe only partial. This needs improvement, especially that we spook about this with the cleaning staff.

The location and the price and the hospitality

The privacy and the bedroom You could hear everything going on around you And the entrance door can be opened even if you locked it twice with the keys And the bedroom was very small

We love our stay at Royani Villa, we stayed in the villa with the private pool which was great, the hosts are wonderful, a lovely family who are very helpful with any questions and assisted us with transport when requested. The breakfast of nasi goring, fruit and juice that we chose to have at the villa was excellent, we would definitely recommend staying here

Pool and bedroom were ok but pictures are very decieving

The whole place was infested with cockroaches ants wasps mosquitoes, a few I understand but everyday and all over the walls kitchen, and bathroom. Could not even use the toilet due to how many insects there were at the property. Also they had construction starting everyday in the morning with loud hammering and banging, this did not make me enjoy my stay at all. I paid 500£ for my holiday especially when I am out late not to be woken up by people hammering the doors down and waking me up. When I told the staff about this all they said was working hours starts at 9 but they did not tell me this prior to booking the property. He told me after there is construction going on but when booked it was non refundable so I could chose somewhere else to stay. I asked if there could be any reimbursement or extra facilitation due to the poor living conditions but no help at all. The location is far from all the activities in Ubud

I loved Everything! Complete privacy whilst having easy communication with host. Huge private swimming pool and delicious breakfast. In the middle between the beach and ubud so you are close to both if you rent a motorcycle. I messaged the host before arriving and the motorbike was waiting for us when we arrived. Cant thank Kadek and her family enough for their hospitality and their friendly staff. Perfect stay from beginning to end!
