Villa Akmali Canggu - 2 Bedrooms

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Akmali. Location was brilliant, tucked away in one of the busy areas of Canggu. Highly rated restaurants and cafes within 10 mins walking distance as well as a variety of shops, and markets for clothing and accessories etc. The beach is also a short walk away. The villa itself was great, it was clean and tidy and had everything you need. The rooms are large and each have an ensuite. The living/dining area is spacious and there’s a large TV with Netflix and YouTube etc for when you want a quiet night in. The pool was great and the outdoor area gets sun all day. The staff were super friendly, helpful and communicative. They are just a message away if you need anything. They come in to clean the villa everyday and give fresh towels etc. They also left us with a small gift for staying which was so thoughtful and the cherry on top to our stay. Would definitely recommend Villa Akmali and would book again if we were to return to Canggu!

Villa was beautiful, clean and modern. The staff was amazing, very accomodating.

Unfortunately the pool was green the whole time we stayed however the staff were amazing about it, we got refunded a night for free and they took us to the airport free of charge. The manager was very apologetic and did everything he could to make our stay he still amazing.

The living room is big and comfortable, fast wifi (of the best I've found in Bali) and has smart tv. the bedrooms and bathrooms are big too.

Cleaning should be better, it gave the impression that nothing was really clean. One of the bathrooms had a really bad smell. The upper windows of the rooms have no curtains; so too much light enters the room in the morning and even at night with the outdoor lights. The configuration of the villa was not the best for us either, as we have children, because the bedrooms and living room are in separate blocks and the bedrooms open directly onto the outside pool area. The stay in Canggu was not very pleasant either, it is not the best area in Bali for families with small children. The streets are very dark after sunset, full of traffic all day and few or no sidewalks.

Extremely good wifi. Perfect location. Awesome big TV with Netflix. Airplay works too. Amazing pool.
