Het was een prachtige locatie, midden in de jungle, wat hebben we veel verschillende dieren geluiden gehoord! We hadden 2 kamers voor 3 personen geboekt, bij aankomst bleek er een kind bij de ouders in bed te moeten slapen :-( Dit vonden wij niet acceptabel, we kregen gratis een extra kamer, super goed opgelost dus!

We hadden veel regen en dan is het wat minder comfortabel, de regen waaide op het balkon waardoor je dus niet meer buiten kon zitten....

Mi piaceva molto la tranquillità, quello che cercavo in questo viaggio. La piscina privata e la stanza che si affacciava sulla foresta erano spettacolari, soprattutto la mattina; era una vista stupenda.

La colazione non era a buffet, ma veniva preparata lo stesso giorno, ma era molto misera.

The setting, which overlooks the jungle, along with the pool and tranquillity, creates a serene environment for nature lovers. You can hear the sounds of the jungle and its wildlife, which is exactly why we chose to stay here! On our first night, we found that the largest pool room was too close to the road, and the noise from the buzzing and beeping scooters was overwhelming. Fortunately, we were moved to a quieter room in the back afterwards, and we had no further issues. The bed was comfortable, the hot water was great, and overall, it was a really pleasant stay! The owner was also very accommodating. When we rented a scooter, he woke up at 5 am to ensure everything was in order. The food we ordered occasionally was good, but since it was delivered from another location, it could take up to 1.5 hours to receive a somewhat cold dinner. We mostly opted to walk to a nearby restaurant instead. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. We highly recommend it!

The welcome we received from the first receptionist was less than ideal; he didn't assist us with our luggage up the hill and didn't come across as very warm. However, we later realised he was a gentle soul—just a matter of personality, I suppose. In contrast, the second young man was incredibly nice and helpful, always smiling and willing to go the extra mile! We were disappointed with the breakfast arrangements. When we booked, breakfast was included, but upon arrival, we were asked to specify a delivery time for the next morning, a day in advance, which felt awkward. This was because the breakfast was prepared elsewhere and delivered cold at the specified time. The food itself was not great, except for the fried rice or noodles, which were more appealing to us since they differed from typical European offerings. They provided 'American' and Continental breakfast options, but the quality was lacking. Additionally, you received only one thin slice of bread or one pancake, depending on your choice. Regardless, someone would arrive with breakfast at the designated time, which was fair enough. The host kindly offered a refund, and we used that money for food and scooter rental. Speaking of the scooter rental, we had a wonderful experience overall, although I must mention the helmets—they were old, dirty, scratched, and one didn't secure properly. But we managed to make it work!

Great location opposite a small water temple. Great views to the jungle. My room had a private pool below a back deck. There was a room service meal option from a local restaurant. The breakfast was OK, the dinners were better - fine if you don't have a scooter and don't want to walk to the village in the dark to find food. From the villas, bout ten minutes walk up the road (with a short incline to the top) and you are in the main village surrounded by rice fields, with a number of good warungs along the way.

The wooden floors felt a little unstable to me, but maybe that's just me. I thought the villas were a bit overpriced for what they were.

Wow. The infinity pool overlooking the jungle was something else. The villa was gorgeous, made with natural materials and waking up to the sounds of the jungle in the morning was such a treat. Room service was delicious with a great choice available. The staff couldn’t do enough- especially Bayu who showed me round Ubud and suggested a visit to the coffee plantation and fire dance which I never would have thought of myself- both being absolutely superb. Can’t wait to return!!

Lovely room, gorgeous views, so much wildlife to watch and listen to. Great little pool. Excellent staff. Home cooked meals delivered to your terrace. Clean and well kept. A real treasure

Nothing at all to dislike, I'd go back there in a heartbeat
