Salt villas

The location was very good. Near to restaurants and a short walk to the harbour, and different parts of the island. The room was very comfortable and clean. The little plunge pool was great to dip into. Even when it rained. The guys that clean and run the villas were fantastic and always helpful. They sorted out trips for us. Would thoroughly recommend. A little piece of paradise.

A wonderfully spacious and stylish place to stay on Gili Air – real luxury! Having a private little space with a plunge pool was great for chilling out and reading. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom spacious and clean. The hosts, Seoul and Oggie, were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend staying here for a little alone time and luxurious surroundings - we'll be back!

Everything was great. I would say having access to clean water in the room would have been useful, though asking the hosts to refill bottles wasn't a problem.

the best place we stayed in INDONESIA. staff very helpful and nice. cleanliness at the highest level. the cool water pool is perfect for the hot bottoms in Gili. I heartily recommend it

Central location with easy walking distance to islands offerings. Mosque prayers easily audible & can be intrusive. Staff friendly yet required constant prompting to clean room / clean pool / empty pool / return keys. Villa is a nice space & courtyard pool with privacy was great when clean. Over priced for the service. Ok for short stays.

One set of keys meant constant communication with staff to have room cleaned or to return keys - why don't staff have a set of keys to tidy the villa whilst client out at breakfast? Completely takes away the joy out of returning to a clean room and puts the onus on the client to ask for what is required. I got tired of asking. Staff frequently said "tomorrow" to clean room or "it's ok" as pool overflowed & soaked entire courtyard & garden beds. I could not get staff to understand the overflowing pool was a problem for me. Villa was not cleaned during my 18 day stay - towels & linen were changed 3 times in total yet the bathroom / toilet etc were not cleaned properly (e.g dead moths remained stuck to shower drain) and unpleasant room spray does not equal 'clean'. Towels are stained with other clients makeup or yuk. I agree with eco-friendly outlook & do not require daily linen change, yet it could at least be laundered properly. Pool cleaning was problematic and was consequently not available as a clean pool after heavy rain (took 24 hours for green gunk to settle after chlorine tossed in randomly) and pool was really not cleaned well for my entire stay. I often had to clean leaves myself immediately after staff attended - nearby trees dropping leaf debris is a constantly And ash from neighbours clearing fires was steady. Seriously detracting. Staff treat "business centre" as their personal living room & daily occurrence of lying, sleeping, lounging, smoking & playing music with random "my friend" hanging out frequently using the wifi with full focus on their phones and not realising I've walked past then jumping up to attention and calling me back to converse. Seriously detracts from a 'luxury' stay and was unprofessional on a daily basis. Villa needs basic items - no hand soap! empty shampoo!

The location is great! It's just a short walk to the beach and the main road with lots of restaurant options. Especially the staff is super nice and really helpful with whatever you might need!

Perfect little private villa to chill out on the island, the bed was so comfy and the garden is so nice to relax in. Loved having our own private pool! The location is great as everything is in walking distance, and the staff were really friendly and helpful (we rented a bike for the day too).

Only thing missing for me was a kettle and tea/coffee facilities in the room, otherwise perfect.
