we enjoyed being close to the river with a nice vista and also being able to walk out the gate straight onto the beach and access to the surf. Arsa, our host was excellent and spoilt us with fresh coconuts and papaya and took me to the local hospital to see a doctor. we will stay here again.

as it was sometimes wet it would’ve been good to have a verandah and lounges undercover so we didn’t have to sit in on the bed inside the room. we were staying in the single stand alone villa .

needs a better communal kitchen

The house is gorgeous and garden is perfect, the pictures don’t do the place any justice! We stayed here for a week with our 1 year old, he had plenty of space to move about in and explore safely. The pool was a great place to cool down and have some fun! One end has a large shallow area, a great place to lay and catch some sun without getting too hot! There is a good choice of Warungs and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The beach is also only a stones throw away from the house, a nice place to have a beer and watch the sun go down! Eddy is a great host, if there’s anything you need (Coconuts, especially romantic table bookings, babysitter, surf lessons, motorbikes etc.) he will do what he can sort it for you. Ilu and Kadek help keep the place looking immaculate and will also help out with anything you need. The perfect place to kick back and relax away from all the hustle and bustle of some of the busier places down south.

Our stay was amazing. Arsa was so helpful and always checked in on us to made sure we had everything we needed. Located right on the beach and in walking distance of all you could want - yoga, restaurants, surf, night markets etc!
