Gili Eco Villas

We had a wonderful stay at Gili Eco Villas. The bungalow was extremely well maintained, comfortable and very pleasant to stay in. Everything felt clean, peaceful and carefully looked after. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Everyone was always helpful and kind, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The breakfast was fantastic and something we really looked forward to every morning. It is important for us to clearly say that the hotel itself was excellent and the team did a great job. However, we personally found the island of Gili Trawangan difficult to enjoy. There is quite a lot of trash visible on beaches and streets, and it was very confronting to see the horses used to pull carts all over the island. Many of them are forced to pull loads that are far too heavy and are whipped when they cannot go fast enough. Seeing this happening everywhere on the island was honestly upsetting and took away from the overall experience of visiting Gili Trawangan. Again, this is absolutely not the fault of Gili Eco Villas, which was a beautiful and very well-run place to stay. The kindness of the staff and the quality of the accommodation were truly wonderful. We are very grateful for the hospitality we received here, even though the situation on the island itself made the visit more difficult for us.

We loved our stay here at Gili villas! Everything was perfect, the place was so beautiful and relaxing, it was also close walking distance to the port and main area and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing too 10/10 would definitely stay here next time we come back! Terimakasih :)

Nothing

The villa is perfectly located near many great restaurants and coffee shops. The outdoor lounge area with the pool and kitchen was the perfect place to relax instead of always being out and about. The staff were incredibly helpful—they recommended an excellent dive center (Manta Dive), arranged laundry, and accommodated our breakfast schedule around our dives. Breakfast was amazing, with great options (including vegan), fresh fruit, and juice. We originally planned to stay three nights but ended up extending for two more because the place was just perfect.

The nearby mosque’s call to prayer can be quite loud in the early morning. This is common in the area and, of course, outside the villa’s control.

There was no daily cleaning. We had to wash the dishes after complimentary breakfast. Towels never been changed. Walls around the villa need to be painted. Bad smell in the bedrooms

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette villa charmante et très paisible. La végétation est magnifique et l’endroit est vraiment calme et reposant. Les photos correspondent parfaitement à la réalité. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour sa gentillesse et son accueil. Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Everything about this stay was incredible. We loved our villa so much, we miss it still! The staff is amazing & very hospitable. Villa is very accessible to the harbour and breakfast was amazing too. Would definitely be back!

No encontré muy cómodas las habitaciones, la villa nuestra no tenía vidriosas en las ventanas, lo CIA la habitación era muy oscura y poco grata. La parte exterior De la Villa muy buena y acogedora.
