Villa VIRGINIA

The villa itself was very well designed and if it had been on its own plot of land without neighbours it would have been ideal. Lovely welcome pack of bread from Argostoli, wine, lots of water, fruit and veg locally grown.

Very noisy from various factors as follows: lots of mechanical noise from various gardening equipment. Petrol powered and literally revving the equipment I.e. strimmers , like motorcycles! the gardening started at 2:30 pm & finished at 19:15 ! This was not only within the Villa vicinity but around the estate in general. (Looks highly likely that there is going to be some building work happening directly behind these villas at some point as portions of land are cordoned off) We could hear land being cleared about 1/2 mile away with diggers & workmen. There were some very noisy neighbours staying in the 2 villas next to us- Couples with babies, adults making more noise than the babies. When the villas are close to each other people should honestly think about how loud they are when singing nursery rhymes and generally communicating with each other . Shouting from the kitchen to the swimming pool is not necessary. A family that had clearly taken their children out of school in the UK were particularly loud and noisy with no consideration for its neighbours. Come on adults control the noise from your children! ……owners establish some rules about noise !

Villa Virginia is a beautiful villa set in really spacious, private gardens which thoughtfully provide tempting choices of places either to sit in the shade or to lie in the sun. The outdoor area is genuinely huge and everything both inside and out is extremely tastefully designed and luxurious. It was a real joy to stay there, incredibly peaceful and relaxing, with all you could need on hand. Dimitra was a lovely host, with good communication throughout - it was a pleasure to meet her. She provided us with a generous basket of fruit grown in the estate's own grounds, with their own delicious olive oil as well as bread and wine all of which were wonderful! And there was a lot of tea and coffee, water and butter left for us too - very welcoming and useful. The pool has the softest water, the TV is huge (!) the shower is fantastic, the bed is very comfy and the A/C and wifi worked perfectly. We loved our stay at Villa Virginia and are already looking forward to our next visit :)

Absolutely nothing - it is perfect!

The Villa was beautiful and truly felt like a home away from home, decorated in a lovely way and was very comfortable. The outside space and pool was great to lounge and several seating areas gave different options, which we loved. The bed was amazing, more comfortable than the one at home! The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked on the outside BBQ several times too.
