Villa Sammy

It was clean, comfortable and quiet, which I wasn’t expecting as it was in the middle of Seminyak.

Nothing. It was fantastic.

Nice and clean, house keeping was done every 2nd day. Host Lisa was so welcoming and friendly - she found out it was 1 of our birthdays during our stay and surprised us with a beautiful and yummy birthday cake. When she also found out our young daughter was joining us, Lisa also went out and brought some new pool toys for us to use, so lovely. Any questions we had, Lisa was quick to respond and answer (via WhatsApp), giving us lots of information about what was in the area e.g. great restaurants, places to go look at and activities to do. So helpful.

The hot water in the shower was unpredictable, having trouble controlling the temperature. This wasn't much of an issue as the weather was so nice, and happy to have a cool shower.

From the moment I got picked up at the airport to the moment I got dropped off, my experience at Villa Sammy was exceptional! The villa is perfectly located in the heart of Seminyak, while also being secluded down a side street for privacy. The villa itself is a legitimate Balinese experience and exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend it as an alternative to more expensive resorts. The nearby Spa/Gym (free) and Cafe (discount) are an added bonus. But the actual highlight was Lisa. She is an amazing host, with a vibrant and humorous personality to boot. Great at communication, no task is too small, and incredibly reliable. Would recommend for return stay. Makasih banyak Lisa!

Excellent, quiet location in a small side lane in the midst of Petitinget, in walking distance to coffee shops, nice restaurants, bars and shopping. Clean, down-to-earth and well organised, with proper aircon in bedroom and fans in living room with kitchenette. Cute small pool - which conveniently is in the shadows most of the day. Ideal for couples. Host Mrs Lisa is a gem - a kind, active and always helpful person who doesn't mind going out of her way to arrange things for guests. Coffee Shop at the beginning of the lane offers great coffee and delicious meals at a 20% discount for Villa Sammy guests. Beaches are easy to reach by taxi or motorbike-taxis.

Peaceful after a journey out in Seminyak. Swimming in the pool when it rained was fun. Bed was comfy and smelled great. Lisa the host was very friendly. We were happy and would stay here again.

The couches next to the pool could be more comfortable or changed into day beds instead but overall good value for the price. You will not regret staying here.

Incredible property and wonderful owner. She helped us with items we might need like bug spray and charcoal tablets! She went above and beyond finding us a bike for the week as well. The place itself is great for solo or couple or friends, there are two bathrooms which is very helpful. The pool was beautiful and clean. I would 100% recommend and I will definitely be staying there again. The location is also perfect with Balis best coffee just down the driveway

Loved everything. Could not want more from a villa. Was beautiful, clean, comfortable and the pool was just heaven. Was in a very great area of Petitenget where all the cool bars, restaurants, cafes and clubs are. Shout out to the Cafe Coffe Cartel where as a guest of Villa Sammy you get 20% discount. The food there is outstanding. The gym next store which you get free use of was such an amazing facility. Last but definitely not least the host Lisa was just an angel. Nothing was a problem and she was sooo helpful in every way and always smiling. I will definitely be back!
