Petra Thea Villa Karitaina

Ramona, our host, has been very helpful: flexibility on arrival time, identification and reference of hiking guide, large supply of breakfast ingredients 😉 The terrace and the view from it ( sunrise) was stunning!

There is no grocery shop selling any fresh product in Karitaina; this would have been an issue if we had stayed there several days. This could be announced on Booking in order to advise guests to do their grocery shopping before arriving ( eg in Megalopolis @ 20-25’ drive). Furniture is very old fashioned and eclectic, I could even say cluttered.

Location, view, style, furnishings, breakfast and the Host

The villa has all the facilities one can think of in it. Very well equipt. Very comfertable. Lots of glass art in it. Breakfast left in the fridge is good and plenty. The view from the balcony is amazing. Ramona is very kind and generous.

Everything was great.

The decorations was great. The fireplace was what we were looking for. The size of the property was big enough for a family of 5. Bathroom + WC was a big "plus" too. The house was full equipped. A lot of good stuff for Breakfast were waiting for us. Ramona had everything for us, very kind person. Furthermore, the location of the property was wondering with stunning view of the valley. Kariteana village was lovely. Everything was great.

Overall, I have nothing to report us "dislike". The is a place of improvement on the mattresses and pillows. They weren't bad but I would expect something more extraordinary for that property/project. Other than that, I have nothing more to say!

We had the best time at the villa! The house is very comfortable and quiet, and the hostess and her husband are very kind and helpful. Arriving to a stocked fridge was wonderful for us, and we made good use of the hostess' recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The beds were very comfortable too, with nice, spotless sheets. It really was perfect!

This is in no way the fault of the hostess! There are however many cats in the area, and they sometimes cause the area to smell. In the rooms, we had no trouble with this however, and it was only a small nuisance for us. Also, please follow the guidance of the hostess when it comes to finding the villa. To get there by car, you must be a bit of an experienced driver. The hostess however took excellent care of us, even at an unreasonable hour. We are very grateful for this!

Brilliant views, spacious, great beds, great water pressure in the shower. Ramona, the host, was a pleasure to deal with. She left so many snacks and breakfast supplies, some wine, and there were plenty of basics for cooking in. We had cold nights in late November, and the heating worked perfectly.

It was challenging driving up the first time, but once we knew the way it wasn't difficult.

Ramona, the host, is very hospitable and kind! The house is dreamy and the village, the perfect place to relax, have wonderful meals and go sightseeing. Well done!!! We' ll definitely come back when we revisit the area! Thank you so much!

We had such a brilliant stay at Petra Thea Villa. The owner came and met us on arrival to show us around and had even filled the fridge with food for our stay - it was really an exceptional holiday. The local tavernas were really excellent and the views were beautiful. Overall we loved our stay and hope to come back again.

The fridge was full of food. We did stay for 3 nights but still could not eat all of it.
