Outstanding location, very peaceful and beautiful

There was nothing I disliked about this property

Great staff and a lovely quiet private place

We were so lucky to find this place at the last minute after our original property double-booked us and turned us away. We couldn't have been happier with Samalama - from the lovely, warm greeting on arrival with heaps of helpful information about the area, to the beautifully appointed villas and bigger-than-average private pool. Very clean and comfortable room, very comfortable bed and pillows and gorgeous staff who made up our room every day and couldn't do enough for us, however also completely respected our privacy. It was so lovely to be greeted with the biggest, warmest smiles as we came and went. The location is on the quiet side of the island, which we really appreciated, and very close to the 'sunrise' beach side. Lots of lovely warungs, cafes and restaurants in short walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

The water pressure in the shower was very low, however everything else about the place was so lovely that we were happy to live with that, and it wouldn't stop us from staying here again.

Beautiful villa, great daily communication and access to assistance. Incredibly clean and very friendly staff.

Sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites und zuvorkommendes Personal. Sehr geschmackvolle Gestaltung und Einrichtung. Perfekter privater sehr schöner Rückzugsort. Im noch etwas ruhigeren Norden der Insel gelegen.

LOVE THE STAFF!!! Absolutely beautiful people with such warm and welcoming smiles each time we would leave or come home. The property was very cute, very basic but private and comfortable. We were right next to reception, and could sometimes hear people here… best choose a room away from the reception if you want total privacy.
