Sweet Orange Pondok

The property is beautiful, tucked away in the beautiful jungle and rice fields. It was peaceful with beautiful gardens, ponds and the buildings are beautiful! It was an adventure to get there which was fun for us and we loved being a little out of town but easily walkable.

Nice surroundings. Outside of busy Ubud! Food was good; staff was nice especially Kadek the butler and Kadek the housekeeper (sorry might have wrong names).

Needed to get there via scooter (can be a bit scary) but they provide staff to pick you up. Rained in our little cottage for 2 nights; after the second night we got moved to a new room that was much nicer.

The breakfast was very good. The place is quite peaceful too!

Cleanliness. The bathroom especially. Location - further outside of the town than I thought! I’m someone who’s young and fit, but this is not in the centre of the town so you have to factor that in when doing tours etc. Large gecko in the room, which took a poo on my bedsheets. When I got staff in to the room , they rubbed the poo off with their hands. Dog barking on the property and machines working causing noise. Disappointing.

Wat een heerlijk verblijf, prachtige en rustige plek. Bed sliep heerlijk. Uitzicht vanaf het balkon echt mooi. Prima badkamer. Huisje is echt ruim. Mooi zwembad met ligbedjes. Je kunt water tappen, zo geen onnodig plastic verspilling. Super vriendelijk personeel. Willen je graag met van alles helpen en meedenken. 1x per dag scooter service van en naar Ubud. Leuk aangrenzend testament heerlijk eten. Prima ontbijt met voldoende keuze. Ik vond het zo fijn, dat ik na mijn rondreis door Bali hier weer terug kom.

Ik zou het (persoonlijk) lekker vinden als er relax stoelen op het balkon zijn, maar er is gelukkig wel een prima zitje. Niet zoveel ligbedden bij het zwembad.

Lit qui grince et dur Notre chambre était dans les parties réservés au personnel, on ne s’attendait pas à ça Je ne sais pas si c’était indiqué dans l’annonce mais il faut prendre un scooter (pas ce que l’on préfère) ou marcher 10 min (sur un chemin très chaotique) ou un bon 15 min sur un autre chemin pour rejoindre l’hôtel Pour le prix de la chambre on s’attendait à un peu mieux Pas de chance il y avait des travaux pendant qu’on était là.. donc le matin au petit dej du bruit, dans la chambre pour se reposer du bruit et autour de la piscine du bruit car il jardine

The staff were fantastic and so helpful in every way. Delicious food, beautiful large rooms, quiet and peaceful area. Great area to explore.

Nothing

Zalig hotel, zalig personeel, lekker ontbijt, fantastisch zwembad. Mooie ligging tss de rijstvelden. We kwamen door omstandigheden pas om 21u aan en kregen nog een maaltijd aangeboden terwijl de warung op dat moment al gesloten was.

Niets eigenlijk. Hou er rekening mee dat de afstand naar het centrum wat verder is. Wij vonden dit zelf niet echt een probleem De mensen van het hotel staan steeds klaar om je met de scooter te brengen en daar maakten we soms eens gebruik van.
