Paradise West-Bali

It's a huge house (almost 300 square meters) with four bedrooms, two upstairs and two downstairs, the two upstairs is one with two singles and one with double bed, downstairs it's two with double beds. All bedrooms has their own bathrooms with shower, and two living rooms, one downstairs together with the kitchen/dining place and a separate upstairs. The one upstairs also has AC but no AC in the large social area downstairs. Plenty of sunbeds both on the terrace upstairs and around the pool downstairs. Pool is large, deep and very well kept. Staff is very service minded and helps out with anything you need. It has its own access to the beach which is very nice. The view is amazing and when (if) it's not cloudy you have an amazing sunset. We were there mainly for relaxation and had an incredibly chill week. If WiFi quality is important then they have 100mbit download speed that works well, no complaints there what so ever. There are two smart-tvs in the two living rooms with android built in for casting and apps for streaming you can log in to that works well.

The lack of AC in the kitchen/dining area downstairs is a bit of a miss on warm days. They say dinner time is 18-19 but you can only get it at 18 because the staff want to go home. Kitchen equipment/appliances is quite slim. There's a separate cooking kitchen next door that is locked and used by the staff and they probably have a lot of equipment but it's quite unclear what you can actually ask for and not since... The staff understanding of English is very poor, it leads to miscommunication quite often which can be frustrating at times depending on the issue at hand. If you're a fan of good water pressure when showering make sure to shower at at time nobody else is. For obvious reasons it's not going to be enough for potentially for showers running at the same time (not even two with decent pressure). As with most places in Bali sewage is a it unclear, sometimes you get quite a stinky smell, especially from downstairs, kitchen and showers. If you don't want to order from the in-house menu (maybe you want variations eventually, and the food is well cooked but quite bland) then it's quite a trip to find a decent store and restaurants other than small local warungs. There is one small restaurant close by which offer drinks and food which is run by a very nice family but that's really the only option you have without travelling. Closest bigger city is Negara which is a 20 minute drive. We did not hire scooters so had a driver take us there for a day (cost 250') and it takes about 20-30 minutes by car. All in all mostly details but depending on your preferences it might affect your experience more or less.

Here you get everything which is Bali without sharing it with other travellers: nature, culture, endless remote sandy beach, hospitality. Very nice staff takes care the tranquility of your full relaxation. Best choice for families.

Little bit far from everything, but that makes it very unique. Private drivers manage easily the distances, but the placeis so percect, that you maynot wishthe leave it.

A bit away from everything, but that is not all bad.

We loved our stay at Paradise West Bali, the villa was exceptional, as were the staff. We extended our stay by two nights as we loved it so much. The location is very quiet and there is not much to do, but we enjoyed the relaxing family time. The villa is right on the beach and we borrowed the kayaks to explore the ocean, which was great fun. Life jackets were included. The food from the menu at the villa was great, you just needed to order what you wanted the day before by 7.30pm and the staff would prepare and cook meals for you for an additional cost, but still very cheap. Pool towels/beach towels all provided. Wide screen tv with a selection of dvd’s to watch. Laundry service provided at a very low cost and the clothes came back the same day! The pool was lovely, and very clean. The beds were really comfortable and fresh bedding and towels once a weeks. A short walk along the beach to a local Warung selling fresh fish, prawns and squid. All in all we loved our relaxing family holiday here and I would recommend to anyone looking for a great family holiday.

We loved the pool and the openness of the Villa. Great access to the beach with kayaks, and a great sitting and lounging area. The staff was incredible, and gave us so much insight into how to make the meals and were very attentive to our requests.

Word to the wise. This is quite a trick from the Airport.  recommend either allowing for a full day of travel, or stopping somewhere in the middle. 

I had a wonderful stay at this villa. Everything was good, the staff were very friendly, and the view of the ocean was amazing. It was only a one-minute walk to the beach. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable vacation.
