Villa Estella ☆ Seminyak Kuta - Private Pool

where do i start, this property is in need of maintenance. First the decking around the pool is broken and damaged. my partner and I kicked the broken parts multiple times just walking through the area. The Fride stopped working, when we woke up after our first night the contents of the fridge were hot not even cool. The drinks were warm, our food had to be thrown away as it had gotten hot in the fridge. The toilet in our room stopped working. The air-conditioning on both bedrooms was not working properly. the room got very hot during the night and the air con unit turned itself off every night. It was almost impossible to sleep. The bed was rock hard, felt like we were sleeping on a rock. There were marks/stains on the walls in the bathroom. there appeared to be faeces smear next to the toilet on our arrival. the Towels had a funky off kind of smell like they 've been mouldy and not dried properly. The pool towels were very smelly. The furniture in the common area, was all chipped and marked and scratched. The vinyl lounge chair smells bad and is very uncomfortable considering the climate and temperature in Bali - poor choice of lounge. The ceiling is damaged and stained and looks very unsightly. some attempt has been made to repair it - it looks dreadful and like it could collapse at any moment. there was a dead rodent-like skeleton next to the fridge. We couldn't stay there any longer due to no sleep and it being so hot. We had enough when the toilet stopped working and checked out 3 nights early in disgust.

The room is clean. The staff are vary friendly

The location is in a small lane, it's difficult to drive.

The private pool was nice, and overall we had enough space in the bedroom. Staff was nice and housekeeping brought new towels on request.

Amenities a bit outdated including kitchen and bathroom. Toilet seat was loose. Location overall was good, but the villa was in a dark street surrounded by construction. Although and luckily we didn’t have any construction noise and didn’t feel disturbed by that, but the vibe walking through a construction site for a shortcut to the Main Street felt a bit weird.

The room was very nice and spacious, clean and tidy and very private. Away from noise of the street.

New building opposite the premises restricts access to the town. Had to walk through construction to get to the city - may not be access in a few months time. Reception was not open when we turned up so we had to walk into town with our bags until check in time. Taxi struggled to get down narrow road.

Gullah and staff were attentive, regularly touchied base via WhatsApp and house keeping offered daily. The floating breakfast is a must, all prepped in the villa for us, fresh OJ and coffee too! It's a short walk to main street but far enough that night time is peaceful. There are some amazing eateries close by, and Beni made the best milkshake at Banava. For the price and your own private peace of serenity, don't hesitate!

Some minor maintenance issues but they didn't affect our stay.

Size of the bedrooms & outdoor living area, lovely swimming pool and our hosts were really helpful.

Shower head in the one bedroom was partly broken and did not give a good spray.

I liked how spacey the rooms were, Galuh was a lovely host! The group of cleaners who came were super kind and did a lovely and quick job, thank you very much.

The kitchen and bathrooms were quite outdated considering the price we paid for our 2 night stay.
