Villa Aquamarine

We loved our stay at Villa Aquamarine. The view is mesmerising and the villa is very well appointed - including very comfortable beds and excellent aircon - and very clean. There are great options for dining out within very easy walking distance, although you can also order home delivery, or Kadek will organise a driver if you want to head further afield. Kadek was wonderful - so friendly and helpful, she made our stay! Not only does she cook a delicious breakfast, she is a really talented, professional masseur - having in-villa massages with nothing but the sound of the ocean and birds was blissful. Highly recommend!

Un immense merci pour ce séjour inoubliable dans votre villa de rêve. Tout était absolument parfait : le cadre, le confort, les attentions… Nous avons passé des moments précieux que nous ne sommes pas prêts d’oublier. Votre accueil et votre générosité ont largement contribué à rendre cette expérience encore plus spéciale. On se sentait comme dans un petit coin de paradis. Encore merci pour tout, et au plaisir de revenir un jour !

De enorme ruimte en het fantastische uitzicht waren indrukwekkend. De AC’s werkten prima, hoewel ze wel wat piepten en kraakten. De keuken heeft van alles om te overleven. Maar koken doe je hier waarschijnlijk toch niet zelf. Wel handig om ‘s-ochtends je eigen ontbijt te maken. Je hebt wel vervoer nodig als je buiten de deur wilt eten, alhoewel er een Italiaans restaurant op 5 minuten lopen ligt. De huismanager Kadek regelde zo een scooter voor ons.

In tegenstelling tot wat we hoopten was snorkelen in de zee voor het huis niet fijn. De stroming was te sterk. Dus oppassen. Iets verder, in een baai is het beter. De handdoeken in de kamer roken soms alsof ze na het wassen nog te nat opgeborgen waren. Dus vooral buiten in de zon laten drogen!

Villa Aquamarine in Amed is a very nice place overall. The villa is a bit dated, but still charming and comfortable. The territory is huge, which makes the whole place feel very private and relaxing. The terrace is great, the hammock is a lovely touch, and overall it’s a really pleasant place to spend time. The sunrise here is one of the highlights — the best views are from the pool or the terrace, although you can actually watch it even from the bed, which was amazing. The beds were comfortable, and I also appreciated having charging plugs conveniently placed nearby. It was also nice to find books and table games in the villa. There’s even a small pool on the terrace with fish and frogs, which adds to the atmosphere.

A few things could definitely be improved. The infinity pool is beautiful, but it needed cleaning and the water felt a bit stale. The AC in the living room was quite noisy. Blackout curtains would also make the bedrooms better, especially in a place where the sunrise starts so early.

不得不承认的壮丽的海景，掩盖了细节的不足，和服务的缺失，我们住了三天，没有清洁服务，泳池也不干净，蚊帐也有很大的味道，似乎很久没有清洁了，入住办理也不热情，单子丢给我们自己填写

Een werkelijk geweldig huis. Alles was super, het huis, de waanzinnige veranda, het uitzicht, het zwembad. Je kon via een trap naar een klein plateau aan zee om een duik te nemen. Alles is heel privé. Een warm welkom en goede communicatie. Goede restaurants in de buurt zoals de Green Lemon. Ook een kleine supermarkt. We zouden 3 nachten verblijven maar hebben gelijk 2 dagen bijgeboekt. Een paradijs.
