There weren’t many places to eat within walking distance

Great property - calm, clean, quiet ! Good breakfast. Nice staff. Quick turnaround of any question or need. Spacious. Caring people and very thoughtful - it was my parents’ 40th wedding anniversary and I passively mentioned it and they had a cake ready to make it amazing as a surprise !

Some stuff were missing , but they had real reason why it was missing and was replaced asap. Attention to minor details would be great to add more worth (even more) !

Seem like a good value for $57 a night and two bedrooms. It was close to our event. It was quiet, no traffic noise. We enjoyed the pool. The staff was very accommodating, air conditioning worked well. Had a lovely table and chairs, under a roof, outside of our room, second floor. The kitchen had a table, fridge, stove, and limited silverware and plates.

The bed was OK but not great. The bathroom had a small sink, but nowhere to put our toiletries. Toiletries were on the floor, which was OK. The second bedroom is small.

The villa’s architecture, garden, and traditional Balinese temple elements gave the entire property a very authentic and peaceful atmosphere — we truly appreciated the cultural charm. The swimming pool was clean and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing. Daily housekeeping ensured that the rooms were kept tidy throughout our stay. Each room was equipped with international power adapters, which was very convenient. Breakfast was excellent and flexible — the staff were happy to customize the meals based on our preferences, as long as it used the ingredients already available. The villa staff provided excellent service — very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Airport pickup and tour arrangements were available upon request. While we did use their transport services a few times, we found that some external options (e.g., rented cars with drivers) offered more competitive rates without compromising service quality.

One of the bathroom doors had a shard of exposed metal on the door frame, which could be a safety concern. Water pressure and availability became an issue when all rooms were in use — if you were the last to shower, the water often ran out. One of the bathrooms had visible black mold, which needs attention. It’d be great if the fan was kept on until the bathroom dried in order to avoid mold to grow since this is a tropical country which is very humid, you need a lot of ventilation in a bathroom or use the fan to draw moisture out. As the humidity level in the rooms was high, and fans were not always turned on during cleaning, leaving the room damp. Several door and cabinet handles were broken, which gave parts of the room a worn-down feel.

The owners/staff were exceptional, they were very attentive & helpful. Loved the outdoor dining area.

It was very tired looking & not overly clean. Towels were old & reused each day, no hand towels or bath mat. Villa didn’t have the basics like cutlery & crockery in the kitchen, or a bin. Bathroom was poorly equiped and open shower meant always walking on a wet floor. No hangers in the wardrobe. We saw the villas on the ground floor which looked to be newer & cleaner, would have preferred to be there.

We loved the property. Felt a connection with the surrounded nature. Was perfect enough for our trip to Ubud. Additionally the service, the kindness and how helpful the staff were to us. Definitely recommend
