Vista del Mar

This is the second time I’ve stayed at Vista del Mar. It is a delightful villa in a perfect location. The villa is homely and welcoming. The perfect place from which to enjoy Candidasa.

Just a bit of a walk to everywhere but I do have a bad back so that was my problem

Vista Del Mar is an excellent property in Candi Dasa, the position is fantastic, in easy walk to the main township with good restaurants and shops nearby, the host is very willing to share her knowledge of the area, and what activities are available

Lovely setting and great villa with a separate 1 bedroom stand alone bed/bath where we stayed as the main villa bedroom was upstairs and difficult for us to access. Ketut the general all round person was lovely and very helpful. Also organized a driver to take us to Sanur at the end of our stay.

A bit of traffic noise in the evening which kept us awake.

Villa is clean and comfortable. Great pool and an access to a pretty nice beach via a hotel (2-minute walk). Very friendly and helpful staff.

The only concern is the roosters singing early in the morning as there are several houses by the villa.

A hidden gem, just what we needed. Vista del Mar was beyond relaxing, I honestly felt sad to leave. While there is a caretaker, Ketut, who visits twice a day, we had complete privacy and he was in no way intrusive into our stay. Ketut keeps the property clean and tidy and was available to answer any of our questions. Everything that we needed was within easy walking distance. The gardens are a peaceful setting to easily enjoy. This truly felt like home and we would certainly love to revisit.

It is an amazing place to stay. The pool and the garden are wonderful and the whole Villa makes you feel that you live there. The staff is also super kind and helpful.

The closest beach was a bit disappointing but the underwater was really beautiful!

Amazing house. We couldn't believe it was all for us to use, I expected to be shown a bedroom in a shared house! It has everything you would need. The pool was lovely and clean and we used it a lot. Short walk to main street with shops, restaurants etc. Good food available right next door which also delivers to the villa. Ketut met us at the villa and was very friendly & helpful.

The main house has the king bed. The 2 singles are in a separate building (but within the locked garden area) which may be tricky if you have young children (we took it in turns to share with our child). The single mattresses are very hard and desperately need mattress pads. The super comfy king bed has an air conditioner above it which unfortunately dripped onto the pillow during the night (luckily only 1 of us used the bed at a time). So many light switches inside & out to work out which does what!
