Villa Nico - Private Pool with Onsite Spa

Location was great, the hosts were nice and friendly, pool was awesome. We loved our stay here

The authentic feel

Just a heads up it is quite a noisy area.

We loved the layout, open living dining, garden and pool area.

A few things that could improved: New bath and pool towels as the ones that are there are looking a little old. The shower heads in bathrooms 3 & 4 need fixing. The first bedroom didn’t have air con. This wasn’t a problem because two of our family members couldn’t come at the last minute so we didn’t need the 5th bedroom. But had they come, we couldn’t have used the room with no air con which meant that 2 of the boys would have had to share a room. The couple in the last room furthest from the pool said the mattress was rock hard. We aren’t sure if all the mattresses are the same because the rest of us found the beds ok. The water in the pool seemed to get greener as the week went on and one of our group got an ear infection. My husband noticed that the chlorine was sitting in a pile in the corner of the pool, not dissolved. Maybe that is why. We enjoyed the pool however.

It was clean and tidy the staff were fantastic.

The bathrooms could do with a paint and a little face lift but they were ok that’s just for feedback purposes, as some of the paint in areas is flaking off and this could have improved the look and feel.

We were made to feel very welcome by the Villas host. He was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was awesome. Nothing was too much to ask for and it was served on time, fresh, hot and with a smile. The rooms were serviced every day and the sheets changed often as required with a longer stay. Nothing was too much of a problem. The swimming pool is super for adults and competent swimmers to swim in. It is big and very deep. The Villa was a safe haven away from the traffic which can be noisy and heavy at times. It was close to walk to the supermarket. It was also easy to catch a taxi or motorcycle. The streets do have walking hazards. The Security staff was available overnight which was helpful and comforting. It is good to have staff at the property 24/7. The Staff overall were very friendly and helpful.

Some of The Villa bathrooms could benefit from some attention to the finer details like wall plastering and some tap, sink, shower and plug hole maintenance and replacing.

Villa is exactly as it looks. The staff were great for breakfast every morning! There is a security guard there in the nighttime as well, he was great and didnt mind us having guests.
