A very enjoyable stay our 2nd stay and hopefully will be back again

Booked hot tub was not quite ready for us to use had a bit of a wait for it heat up

the location is a short drive to the main Buncrana street, please note, you need a car and you can't walk safely, it's a long walk and there are NO pavements and it's on a very busy road with fast, motorway speed traffic, so don't plan on walking anywhere, at least safely. The kitchen and bathroom are high spec. There are x3 dining room chairs around a table in the kitchen but that is all the chairs in the place which is TINY, no chairs anywhere else and no living room or seating area AT ALL. If you can sleep with massive traffic noise then you could stay here for one night, two at a push but not longer as you would get a more comfortable stay at a motorway layby. Justin, I just read your reply to my review, it is Nov 24-Firstly, traffic IS a major huge problem. Guests stay 1 or 2 nights and just put up with it I am sure if they don't complaint: as traffic is horrendous, it's like trying to sleep in a motorway layby. 'near a road' it is on a road in a layby right on the road just yards away from motorway akin traffic. It is definitely not hyperbole. The blinds are terrible, cheap and don't block out the headlights, shocking and NO curtains for noise and light control-why not put curtains up? It's NOT clear that there is NO living room there is just one dining table and 3 seats: very poor to call it a cottage which is misrepresentation. Regarding parking, there are just two car parking spaces for TWO houses, the house next door sleeps 8!! Go figure!! It is a nightmare or else you are parking in the layby. There was NO mattress protector on the mattress and on most pillows ZERO pillow protectors and yellow stains on mattress and pillow. Staying for one night you would not complain about dirty sponges and ONE tea towel for a week.

Trying to sleep with traffic racing past the bedroom window at motorway speeds! The double bed, Bedroom 1, is a couple of meters away from a massively busy road and it's like sleeping in a motorway layby, correct that NOT sleeping at all. There are no lamps or side tables in both bedrooms. The bedroom at the back has glaring nights all night from the garden. there are NO curtains and so headlights flash into bedroom 1 all night long from both directions as there is the flimsiest of blinds in both bedrooms, blind in bedroom 2 not shutting at all so strangers that share the back of the house (the booking.com property next door that sleeps 7 so they can just look in at you any time) can see straight in. If you have kids, the front door opens straight out on to a massively busy road with no wall or garden. You are also sharing the back walk way with strangers arriving next door and staying in the booking.com property. The parking is very difficult, risk parking your car in the layby just outside the front door and risk getting it clipped by traffic and risk your life getting in and out-no idea how people with kids would manage this-OR 'fight' with the guests at the next door house which sleeps 7 on booking.com for just TWO safe parking spaces. You don't want to go out as you won't have a space left. Frying pans x2 were all ripped off coating. No deep dish. ONE tea towel and a ripped and used washing up sponge to last a week, no other tea towels or clothes. Harsh LED lighting throughout no lamps. If you can sleep through heavy traffic then stay here. Bedding when stripped: not all pillows had protectors and very deep yellow stain on one pillow-yuk. Main double bed no mattress protector and yellow stains on it yuk too. Double bed quilt was ripped along two edges. Also, the owners and or agents not sure which they are want a damage deposit before you stay and your passport details. Quite onerous.

Would have been nice to have some easy chairs to sit on. only had beds or dining chairs. very misleading about the extras e,g, having to book hot tub etc

It was cosy clean very well organised and handy to shops and bars and done to high standard I will return the vip area was amazing

Would have loved a livingroom to chill didn't have any negatives
