More like a lodge. Very basic. Cleanliness is poor. Bathroom were dirty on arrival. Definitely not what was shown in pics. Only for bachelors.

Quiet, nice (uncared-for) garden. Good wi-fi. Peaceful back street, easy walk to beach and Fort.

Generally this property is shabby and uncared-for, the kitchen of the 2BR flat is very grubby and not well equipped.

1) Proximity to the beach and other focal locations was a good thing. 2) the room was neat and tidy. 3) the host came to meet me in person and explained about the nearby locations to visit 4) the support staff was helpful 5) was able to get an accomodation for my driver as well (though the given room/bed had a lot of red ants not allowing him to have a proper sleep)

1) confusion around the check in time resulting in a short delay in the room being handed over to us. 2) capacity of the air conditioner for the size of the room was low. In the scorching heat of May, during the day time there was hardly any effect of the air conditioner. 3) No food facility. The nearest hotel/food stall atleast as far as my knowledge goes is a few kilometres away.

Rooms were nice, spacious and well-furnished. Were provided umbrellas which was helpful since it was raining. Centrally located property.

Basic amenities were not provided in all bathrooms (soap, handwash etc). We had to lock three doors (our own room, the house itself, the gate) each time we stepped out, which was very irritating. Since it is a small property, there is no staff permanently there. Manager came only during check in, though was available over the phone. There is supposed to be a caretaker on site during the day, but she was not always present. We were told she could provide tea or coffee, but the one time we asked, we were refused and directed to the museum where tea is provided. But note that this is only during museum hours and that there is no other option for tea/coffee in the area; one has to walk to the bus-stand which is about 10 minutes away and may not be easy each time. Also, there is no option for meals on the property though there is a kitchen. There is one property nearby which offers meals although this is quite expensive. Again one would have to go to the bus-stand. THIS INFORMATION IS NOT PROVIDED IN ADVANCE, SO THAT ONE CAN PLAN FOR IT. Those with kids or older people might find this aspect particularly difficult. Also, would not recommend this property for single travellers, since there is no full-time staff present. There is supposed to be a security at night (though we didn't see him). but there are three entry points to property, of which two are kept open for staff to come and go, and there is a whole process of locking up multiple doors/windows at night.
