Mahabs homestay Villa

We liked the house very much. It is spacious and clean. The location is nice if you want to be out of the busy centre. Mahabalipuram is great to visit. We liked Gowtham a lot. He is a very open, transparent and welcoming young man.

The beds are too hard for us. Both nights there were some dogs barking in the evening and night. So we didn’t sleep well. Also the bathroom is outdated.

The owner is super nice and very helpful. It was a pleasant stay!

The staff especially Gowthamji for whom nothing was an issue. He sorted out fruits and vegetables for us as well as ordering and picking up our dinner and liased with our cab pick up. All this whilst his wife was in hospital. Truly a very humble and caring person. The room was spacious with lounge and kitchen. Breakfast was delicious

It was near stagnant water so we were worried about mosquitos but actually it was fine. The curtains were too thin and didn't block the light

It is such a beautiful property! I am a solo traveler so it was huge for me! It is perfect for a group or family of 4-5 people. The bedroom is spacious, as is the dining room and kitchen area. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to the main area of Mahabilipuram but it’s a nice walk and it’s peaceful! Gowtham is an exceptional host and makes sure your comfortable! The breakfast was also brilliant - best coconut chutney I’ve ever had! Thank you for a lovely stay!

The host, the roof, the localisation

Lovely location amongst the greenery, away from the main busy road but close enough to reach the main visiting sites, beach and restaurants. Gautam is a perfect host, very attentive and always near and happy to help with anything. Thank you for a very pleasant stay and most delicious breakfasts.

I had travelled here due to work with my colleagues. The place is very peaceful, it is a suitable place to unwind after a work day. The wifi speed was good and fast. Overall a peaceful experience.
