Vacation home near Budapest, ideal for Hungaroring

The property in general is well kept and well-equipped in an excluded and calm area in Leányfalu. The owner was responsive and helpful via messaging. Electric insect repellents around the house is a big plus. Fast wifi. Washing machine. Overall tasteful and harmonic interior design the owners are obviously horse lovers :). Access to a clean pool with temperatures around 22-24 celsius suitable for children also given the different depths on the two ends. Swinging bed on the patio. Dog friendly accomodation with a lovely green, shadowy and spacious garden. The pool is shaded enough to enjoy without sunscreen already by 3.30 p.m. Automatic fence at the drive in. Top notch electric kitchen utensils of all kinds including an ice cube machine.

Weeks before our stay we requested a crib and a baby feeding chair for our stay. After the original response to 'take these things with ourselves if possible' the crib was provided but we had to feed our toddler from his sulky because the baby chair we found by the dining table was useless. (No belt to keep the child supported on an elevated older wooden chair that once seemed to have ways of buckling up). One of the advertised pluses that could motivate the high pricing of this property would be the panoramic view from the upper balcony, however if you have children and/or potentially drunk people in your company it is safer not to go to this deck at all as the fences around it are in such bad condition that even signs say not to lean against them for risk of falling. Lack of air conditioning makes the house stuffy on summer days hotter than 30 degrees and the inside climate enjoyable only after sunset. Insufficient ways of keeping the rooms dark enough-at least for Scandinavian summer standards. The adress-actually two adresses this house has was problematic to find and we had to walk down multiple times to Hunyadi street's crossing when the food delivery, taxi driver or visiting friends failed to be able to navigate with gps to the property. Aquiring an invoice/receipt functions only through emailing back and forth Booking's customer service.

Some double beds are a bit narrow.

We stayed for a weekend in May. The host was very responsive. The location of the property was excellent, with beautiful hikes nearby. We enjoyed both outdoor and indoor activities. The property was clean, very comfortable, and well-equipped. The pool was smaller, but very enjoyable for kids.

There was nothing to dislike about this property. The whole family had a great time.
