Villa White Lotus by BaliSuperHost

Property was just like the beautiful pictures. In-villa services were easy to organize - we had a dinner and floating breakfast prepared by a private chef, and massages for everyone in the group (8 therapists were organized at the one time so no one was waiting). Pande our host was extremely responsive during our stay and assisted us with all sorts of questions. The location was quiet and a perfect setting to relax and chill by the pool with friends. Location-wise it’s about 30mins drive from Ubud town but with a Grab it was quite easy to organize transport (50,000-100,000idr each way). We also used Grab to deliver food on some occasions, which was also convenient.

The air conditioning in the rooms could be better maintained and the lounge room could be cooler if there were curtains (like the bedrooms). It suffered from the afternoon sun and despite having the a/c on it was still very warm in the afternoon. Sliding doors were a little glitchy to lock but minor issue. The pool is quite deep and is not made for wading/standing up easily (warning to others who might have kids).

Stayed with another family, a bedroom for all, the view was beautiful and remote. The butler we had was very accommodating and was on call via WhatsApp if we needed him. We were surprised with an outdoor shower which was really relaxing and cool. The other room had outdoor toilet and bath. It was a great experience for our first trip to Bali.

It was great that the bedrooms were separated, it would be even better if they had interconnecting ones for some of the rooms so that with those who have families can stay in those villas. Otherwise, it was quite far away from town you'll definitely need some sort of transportation to get into town or to the shops. It's great that they had a laundry place down the road to help assist with the laundry. The bedrooms were absolutely amazing, very beautiful, they should change the electrical power socket to suit international travellers or to provide adaptors for the guest.

That it was too far from where the shops were and they should have free shuttles going into town at least. All the sliding doors were not great and did not close properly. Pool was great only for adults as it is way too deep and wasn't really child friendly especially the one at the top level. Kids can definitely have an accident and fall and having a shallow end in the bottom level pool is not great. At least if it was deeper on that end and if a child was to fall off they wouldn't hurt themselves too much cause of of the deepness of the water but it's obviously the shallow end of the pool so it's quite dangerous for smaller children.
