Homayoon Private Villa Ubud

This place was magical! We could hear the stream of the river from our bungalow and we really felt like we were in the jungle. Very clean and comfortable. The staff was exceptional and the breakfast was delicious. Definitely recommend!

I really liked how peaceful and private Ubud Homayoon Private Villa felt. The atmosphere was so relaxing, and it was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy some quiet time away from everything.

One downside of Ubud Homayoon Private Villa was that the WiFi wasn’t always very reliable, which made it a bit frustrating at times, especially when trying to stay connected or plan things online.

Very spacious and big comfortable bed. Room cleans daily with fresh towels provided. Lovely pool area that made it feel like you were in the jungle. Very friendly staff. A good location just out the way of the main part of Ubud so no noise or traffic near by.

Front door is difficult to open and close and often left a gap where insects could get in.

It had the potential to be super cute.

One of the women on staff became my main point of contact whenever I needed anything — she was outstanding and truly one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, so I felt awful having to tell her that I needed to leave. Despite her and the team’s efforts to change the bedding and de-bug the villa, I kept finding ants throughout the space — including in the bed and the canopy above it. I completely understand that the villa is in the jungle and bugs are to be expected, but there were quite a few openings and gaps that made it easy for them to get in. It also looked like there was more upkeep to it from the pictures they presented online, which was disappointing to see that it wasn't as glamorous as I had thought it would be. Unfortunately, I wasn’t provided a refund, as I was told it wasn’t possible since the payment had already been processed through my bank.

The property is horrible, dirty, full of insects and not well kept. Not at all what we expected nor that is shown in photos! Way overpriced for what it is
