Villa Ane, Divine holiday

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr sauber,modern und mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Es ist ruhig gelegen und bietet mit dem großen Pool und einem eigenen Spielplatz viele tolle Möglichkeiten für Kinder und Erwachsene. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit und stehen für Fragen immer zur Verfügung. Wir haben uns hier sehr sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

We had a truly amazing week at villa Ane. The friendly hosts met us with keys and took us for a brief tour. They had stocked the fridges with some soda snacks and as well as rakija (local spirit) and the most amazing sherry. And the house ... I mean, I've been to more luxurious houses, but very seldom to such beautiful surroundings. You have a beautiful mountain view from the veranda and leafy trees as far as you can see. It's really quiet and sitting there, listening to the cicadas, seeing the swallows dive for insects felt like a course in mindfulness by itself. I might also add that there was surprisingly few mosquitos and none came out before nightfall. This was a great plus for us since our last houses (in France though) have been riddled by mosquitos even in daytime.

During hot days, a lot of bees, and bee imitating flies comes to the shallow end of the pool to drink. Among them are also sometimes wasp. However, if you use the pool until eleven and then leave it during the worst hours (when you probably shouldn't be out in the sun anyway) and return later, almost all of them will have gone away. In the evenings they are completely gone.

The villa is great! The best place is the patio with Barbecue at the Pool. The perfect place for late night drinks. The owners are easy to talk to and make you feel welkome. Would definitely recommend this to everybody.
