Kedis Bali Villa

Overall, this place is amazing, a very large 4 bedroom/bathroom with numerous seating areas, inside and outside. The staff were super friendly, nothing was too much to ask. always helpful and had our breakfast ready on time, bedrooms made up and the gate was always opened and closed for us. Walking distance to Kartika Plaza Street, numerous restaurants, shopping malls etc. The bedroom's, have amazing bathrooms, once you understand how to use the shower, they are all air-conditioned, the seating areas have ceiling fans, but in all honesty, open up the doors on either side and a nice breeze flows through the house. We loved the fact 2 of the rooms are under the main roof, but away from the main house, as it gave privacy to our family when needed, but also had the communal areas also. We really enjoyed our time here, and glad we choose Kedis Bali Villa.... If you have any questions, reach out and I'll do my best to help out if needed.

Nothing at all. There are a few negative comments in previous reviews here, but in all honesty, we didn't have any issues at all, I have mentioned the water pressure and the ceiling fans above, as there are work arounds, and if you are unsure what 'duties' or expectations the staff have, just ask them, we found them amazing, and while they were there, they kept to themselves unless called upon. But try to remember, this is not a hotel, it is a residence, and a magnificent one at that.

The property was large with ample areas to sit and relax, the bedrooms were spacious, the kitchen was well equipped with water cooler for filtered water, outdoor shower and plenty of living areas

Air conditioning only in the bedrooms, fans only in living areas. The location was at least 15 minute walk through small, local alleyways to discovery mall/Waterbom park. No restaurants or supermarkets in the immediate vicinity, it wasn’t ideal for tourists. Some staff were amazing although, our rooms were not made up daily (we stayed for 6 nights) and were made twice during our stay. We had to request fresh towels. The bathroom fixtures (taps, shower heads ect) were very dirty and not maintained well considering the cost of the accommodation. Breakfast provided was lovely, but quite repetitive. The overnight security guard slept on the outdoor daybed during his shift normally falling asleep after midnight. He would walk in downstairs without knocking to fill up his water bottle at 11pm. We offered drinks and were happy for him to get water although knocking would have been nice especially with teenagers in the house.

The pool and outdoor cabana area was so beautiful and relaxing. The Villa is huge and nicely appointed. Bedrooms are airconditioned and fans throughout the rest of the property are adequate. Security staff were super helpful and also the breakfast staff were happy to help.

Poolside, downstairs bedroom smelt mouldy but I think plumbing in Bali is not great. Breakfasts we chose were omelettes or pancakes. Omelettes were ok and pancakes very bland. Maybe more fruit and Indonesian options would be appreciated. We made Vegemite toast!
