The property was spacious and had four comfortable double beds so was great for a group of friends travelling together. Linen was clean, and adequate pillows supplied.

The property certainly could have benefited from a little love; It was tired and whilst it was obvious it had been cleaned, it was definitely only a surface clean. The bathrooms had a very musty smell to them and looked like they needed a good scrub. The kitchen cupboards had insect/animal droppings in them, and a bad odour. The toaster didn't work (although was replaced when requested "thankyou"), and tea-towels or paper towel, non existent in the kitchen. Breakfast was very unappetizing..... sausage, egg and toast delivered cold by 'drop and run' on the table. We couldn't bring ourselves to eat it so left it stacked on the table for pickup...... it was still sitting there the following evening! No one bothered to ask why it hadn't been eaten, and no further breakfasts were provided (or offered). The safe was just slightly bigger than a passport, and in a cupboard in one of the shared spaces. It used a basic generic-type key (not actually a key) to unlock which certainly did not feel secure at all. We also seemed to misplace some AUD from within a backpack during our stay. The upstairs bedrooms were very noisy with a loud generator or pump running all night. Whilst the property had potential, it needed alot of love and attention and did not feel inviting. We have had many previous trips to the area, and have experienced much more inviting accommodation for much better value for money.
