"Spacious, great staff"

Big rooms, spacious Hans and Maria were excellent for breakfast preparation and went out of their way to assist whenever possible

Showers were trickling not much water were coming out Location is hard to find even by grab drivers

Our group of 11 loved everything about villa marie clare. We all fit comfortable with so much more room to spare. Hans was a great manager such great mannerism and a very happy lovely person. We also ordered breakfast which was amazing and loved by all of us. Thanks so much Hans for making our stay so great 😀😀

"Nice but not up to expectations."

The pool area is beautiful, very relaxing at the end of the day. you are close to the Main Street but it’s a quiet area.

It wasn’t clean. The staff clean but the whole place needs a serious make over. Mould in the bathrooms, soap scum in the shower, driveway was overgrown adding to mosquitoes. Lights not working, stairs upstairs have no handrails and are steep. I bought this to the hosts attention and like others who have left comments was assured they have renovation plans but I seriously don’t think this will occur

"Wonderful little oasis away from the outside hustle and bustle…we would definitely return."

Fantastic for our family group of 7. Maria and Hans were amazing.

Little bit of loud music from neighbours until very late a couple of nights.

Let me start off by saying that Hans and Maria are amazing hosts who are very welcoming, passionate and an excellent mother & son duo! Unlike what other reviewers have posted, this property is well maintained and is located in a very good location that’s close to shops, bars, restaurants & amazing beach clubs within walking distance. Morning breakfasts cooked by amazing Maria are to die for! Hans and Maria are very hard working and maintain the property to an excellent standard.

A little bit of TLC is required in the kids bunk bedroom and the toilet located on the 1st floor of the property. Besides this, due to where the property is located it welcomes a lot of insects and small reptiles like Gecko’s which is not too uncommon if you’ve visited Bali before.

Han and the other onsite contact were lovely, helpful, easily contactable and cooked good breakfast.

Bathrooms and rooms are due for some tlc, bedroom walls were water damaged and gave off a strong damp smell. Villa could use some more signage as all taxis and grab delivery drivers struggled to find it.
