Villa Joglo is geweldig. Het huis is ruim, goed ingedeeld, overzichtelijk, prima keuken, ruime slaapkamers, voldoende priceparkeerplekken, heerlijk zwembad en een hele fraaie tuin aan het strand van de zee. Iedere dag een tuinman die ook het zwembad onderhoudt. Bewaking op het terrein van 18.00 uur tot 8 00 uur.

Het verkeer op de weg aangrenzend aan de voortuin veroorzaakt wel wat lawaai.

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cette villa, le personnel était au petit soin et surveillait la villa en permanence. La piscine est juste magnifique et en face de la mer !

Le seul point négatif est la route qui passe derrière la villa, c’est vraiment très bruyant la nuit.

The villa layout, service and beachside location was excellent. The pool was excellent. The space offered by the three separate bedrooms was excellent. The security was excellent. The gazebo was excellent. Service and support by the Rambutan Resort was good.

One of the air conditioners only worked one out of three nights. One night an infestation of ants come out of a wardrobe in a bedroom. Was informed that is "just one of those things in Bali". The water pressure from all of the taps was poor. Terrible when trying to shower. The hot water heater seemed to be faulty as the piolet light constantly went out. Didn't have one hot shower the whole time. The Inside and outside furniture was not comfortable to sit in. The large outside table was rickety and seemed dangerous. One of the poolside umbrellas was very broken. There should be bigger clothes drying racks or multiple ones available. The TV was very small and didn't have furniture around it. The kitchen knives were either blunt or the handles fell off. One of the cabinets above the cooker didn't close properly and constantly popped open. The actual location of the property was not known until we arrived on the site. Google maps had it noted in a totally different location and booking.com didn't provide the address. The adjacent main road provides lots of annoying noise at all hours of the night. (Not good unless you are a heavy sleeper). Less noticeable in the adjacent third bedroom. The mirror height in the main bedroom is for short people. Very annoying to have to bend down. I'm 1.82 mt tall. The main bedroom door didn't work properly. We had to chock it closed when inside or lock it when outside to prevent the air conditioning escaping. During a storm, water flooded in under the front door. We weren't informed to utilise the mounted screens for water ingress protection should a water event like this happen. It was the wet season!

Breakfast was ok, toast was crunchy, very crunchy, but the jam was excellent. The gardens were beautiful, the pool was lovely but cold. The view of the ocean was excellent right out your back door.

To be fair, we only stayed one night and we were not prepared for the villa to be on a major thoroughfare which was busy all night. No let up of traffic, and being a traditional roof the sound amplified to the bedrooms, all night. Trucks, scooters, screaming turbo chargers etc. The villa was tired, TV didn't work, geckos on the bed covering and their deposits, no aircon in the living area, no hot water in some of the showers etc. What was worse was after many hours of trying to sleep and at approximately 2-3 am you could drift off only to be rudely awakened by a Call to Prayer on very loud speakers at 5.00 pm that lasted for well over 20 minutes, a night sleep not happening.
