Compass Villa

Beautiful apartment, well decorated and with an amazing view on the caldera. We liked the proximity to Oia’s center without being in the crowds (you can walk to the sunset viewing point it’s 30min away). The hosts are very nice and fill your fridge every day with plenty of food - we frequently had a light lunch on the terrace at home which was really convenient. The hot tub on the terrasse feels cool given the outside heat, but you can also go to the nearby hotel’s pool (you just need to buy drinks or food to be allowed). The appartement is on the second floor of the owners’ supermarket it is quiet despite being close to the road. The walking path on the other side is sufficiently below the terrace so you don’t get to see the passing tourists. Overall great experience, we had a very relaxing stay in this beautiful villa

Nothing. Was pricey, but everything is in Oia. Compared to similar hotels with views, pool and terrasse, Compass Villa offers larger space.

Our family of five really enjoyed our stay at Compass Villa. The owners were so friendly and hospitable! We arrived very late after flight delays and he could see that our kids were hungry, so he let them go and pick out whatever snacks they wanted in the market below. The refrigerator in the kitchen was fully stocked every day so we could cook a full breakfast. The location was perfect. There were incredible views from the balcony and the bedroom windows. Throughout the stay, they were great with communication and asked whether we needed help arranging activities or transfers.

No washer, but laundry service is available or you could hand wash and hang it on the provided clotheslines on one of the many balconies.

Absolutely nothing! Everything was wonderland and truly went above our expectations.

Compass Villa is a beautiful property. It has amazing views of the caldera and the town of Oia and is incredibly comfortable. Evi was a very accommodating host and having some breakfast food provided each day was wonderfully convenient.

We didn’t realize the villa was situated right on the main road. Sometimes got a little loud during high traffic times. The kitchen could use a little extra cleaning and perhaps a few more items for eating in and cooking. But I imagine most people only stay for 2-3 days and tend to eat out most of the time - like we did.

Location was perfect - easy to relax on the balcony and access the main pathway. Fully stocked refrigerator allowed for us to easily make breakfast and lunch. The size of the apartment was perfect for two couples to share. Breathtaking View! Evi was very helpful with local information and arranging transportation to the airport for our departure.

A few things weren't functioning properly: The doors to the balcony were broken so unable to access balcony from bedroom, the toilet in one bathroom ran and the shower didn't drain well.

The location, amenities and hosts were amazing!

Prime Location, beautiful views, wonderful help from host with planning, large outside areas for the family to relax, welcome food in the fridge, comfortable beds.

The view from our villa was absolutely amazing. We couldn't fault the location as it was central to the supermarket, shops and the walking path to Fira. Everything we needed was in this villa and we couldn't of asked for the perfect host in Eve. Thank you Eve for everything .... you made our stay so amazing and we are already planning a visit back to beautiful Santorini and your villa.
