We have rented 10 - 15 houses in Cyprus and several houses in Cyprus, Rhodes, Corfu, Alicante, and Menorca, but none of them come close to this villa. Why? Because it is an architectural masterpiece. Designed by Margarita Danou for the owner, who is also an architect, the house creates a perfect dialogue between the outdoors and indoors, giving you a feeling of being one with nature while still being protected and surrounded by beauty. The house, situated 550 meters above sea level, on a hill above the village of Ora, offers stunning views of the beautiful Cypriot landscape. In addition to the perfection of the house itself, the owner has engaged the services of Konstantinos, a firefighter, and his company Garden & More, to take care of the house and, most importantly, the guests. When we found the swimming pool too cold, they came and the next day, the pool was warm. We had some concerns about our guests arriving before us, but it was not a problem for Konstantinos. When the local electricity company informed us that there would be a three-hour power outage one morning, Konstantinos arrived the day before with a pie to comfort us. And when we finally requested a late check-out, Konstantinos practically said, 'check-out any time you like.' It's a 32-minute drive to the nearest beach, but does it even matter? After a day at the beach, you don't care about the beach and just want to stay in the house.

The only downside is that the well-equipped house is 15 years old, and some things are not as perfect as they used to be. The refrigerator no longer produces ice cubes, the dishwasher's leak alarm has gone off a couple of times, the blinds are a bit creaky, and some doors are a little difficult to open. However, on the other hand, since the house has turned 15 years old, the cypress trees have grown tall, and the trees outside the entrance have become large and beautiful.
