Villa Sokhaya

We booked this villa for 5 nights and it cost 1000$ roughly and we stayed there for one night and left as soon as we could. Honestly so upsetting to pay such big money and be so disappointed :mold in the rooms :pool was green and slimy :pool lights were broken :one room stunk like wet paint :moldy curtains :doors left open and bugs were in the main room List goes on unfortunately

Tastefully built

No caretaker. Too many insects & bugs. There was a bat flying in my room. Very fragile fitments.

Bed/mattress is a little hard One bedroom smelt strongly of paint or some kind of product

The villa was good in a basic way. Pool and rooms are great size.

The cleaning of the property was really bad, a lot to improve in this sense. Kitchen super dirty, towels with holes, both rooms have a naphthaline smell impossible to get rid off, the bathtub super dirty, all kitchen cabinets smelled really bad, and these just to name some of the multiple more things to improve… I wouldn’t book or recommend this place in this condition to anybody.

Construction next door, not near by as stated, which was misleading. The dust and grit flew over in to pool and a property, men walking over the roof, and we have a open bathroom,also rocks coming over into bathroom, so no privacy at all, for 2 women. Pump in water bottle was full of dirty,. Batterys flat in remote control. Microwave had not been wiped out from last people and never got wiped out while we were there..1st bedroom was used for storage above wardrobes, not a nice look. Shower screen, when sun shone on it you could see all the soap scum.. We went up market with property I thought, very disappointed, been to Bali many times, never have i had to write such a review. i have photos of all of these.. Pool for 3 days was unable to use as it was dirty and took that long to clear.. You can see this is a up and coming area, I was also looking somewhere to hold future retreat. We had people move into property next door, the noise factor until late and early morning, was not considerate at all. Once again not private to noise factor, while others were sleeping at time of night..The villas are very close together and open, so easy for noise to be heard..
