Villa Heliconia

Struttura come in foto. Camere spaziose e pulite con letti comodi. Area comune dotata di tutti i confort. Indra, il custode, puntuale e sempre disponibile. Ottima colazione preparata da lui. Zona piscina con verde intorno perfetti. Zona silenziosa, con ristoranti e locali nelle vicinanze.

Las instalaciones son magníficas, la piscina lo mejor, las habitaciones muy amplias.

Contratamos el desayuno y era muy malo, mejor salir a las cafeterías de al lado. El que venía a prepararte el desayuno no llegaba hasta las 8:00 horas, inconveniente para hacer cosas en Bali. Porque no terminabas hasta las 9:30, muy tarde. La limpieza se limitaba a echarte las sabanas, no limpiaban ni el baño ni te cambiaban las sabanas.

La villa était confortable et très bien située.

Dommage que la piscine avait un petit problème qui n’avait pas pu être résolu durant notre court séjour. Indra nous a très vite mis à l’aise et a su répondre à toutes nos attentes.

Nach der Buchung wirden wir gefragt ob uns ein Fahrer vom Flughafen abholen sollte. Dies hat wunderbar funktioniert und dies auch zu einem fairen Preis. Es konnte sogar ein Kindersitz für unseren 7 Monate alten Sohn bereitgestellt werden, was auf Bali nicht üblich ist. Bei der Villa wurden wir vom Villa Manager empfangen und er brachte unsere Koffer mit dem Roller zum Haus. Die Vila selbst ist nur ca. 2 Minuten zu Fuß von der Hauptstraße entfernt. Das war uns wichtig, da wir keinen Roller hatten und somit leicht mit Grab und Gojek die Umgebung erkunden konnten. Trotz der Nähe zur Hauptstraße war diese in der Villa nicht zu hören. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es auch einige Lokale und Restaurants die ausgezeichnet und günstig waren. Jeden Morgen kam der Villa Manager und bereitete das Frühstück frisch in der Küche zu (Eier, Früchte, Toast und Kaffee). Das Pool was hervorragend und angenehm warm. Die Zimmer waren gut ausgestattet und jedes Zimmer hatte ein eigenes Badezimmer. Es wurde uns außerdem ein Babybett und ein Hochstuhl für unseren Sohn kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt. Der Ausstattung im allgeminen sieht man die Spuren der Zeit schon ein wenig an, tut aber weiters nicht zur Sache und stört auch nicht. Alles in Allem ein wirklich super Ort um Ubud und Umgebung zu erkunden und wir würden auf alle Fälle nochmals hier Übernachten.

It was great, not very far from city center. Indra, the host was extremely helpful, nice and hospitable. Helped us to book different activities and transportation.

If you don't like bugs, you may not like it as it has a big garden and tree inside the villa. but I thing it's the same thing all around Ubud.

Location was excellent - a lovely place in the middle of many authentic restaurants and stores and beautiful walks. Indra our host was very helpful and helped arrange transport and answered all our questions.

There needs to be mosquito coils around the living area and nets in the bedroom. My entire family got bitten badly. The bathrooms and bedrooms, whilst cleaned regularly does not look and feel very clean.

They changed our booking with Villa Heliconia to Villa Damai close to the check-in date due to urgent maintenance on Villa Heliconia. So can't comment on Villa Heliconia. But I do want to comment on the villa management communication. The instructions were not clear. When they changed our booking to Villa Damai without giving us the address, we had lots of trouble finding the place. Note that there are several Villa Damai in Ubud.

It's a beautiful property enclosed with a swimming pool. Indra our caretaker made breakfast for us and was very helpful. Location was great. Out of town in a quiet neighbourhood but lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Easy to get to Ubud centre by taxi.

It's not walkable to get into Ubud centre as there are no pavements but easy to get a taxi.

Indra our villa manager was very friendly and made us feel at ease. The Villa is lovely - loads of room, nice pool and quiet. It’s in a good location - close to restaurants shops and bars a little away from the centre of Ubud but easy to get there too.
