Villa Montanha, 4 Bedroom Villa, with swimming pool, loungers and alfresco dining, 10 min walk to the beautiful Praia da Luz Beach, Shops, Bars and Restaur

A lovely clean and bright house, plenty of room for everyone. The pool area is super, and there are lots of things to keep the kids busy (pool table, football table, Netflix etc). Joanne was great to deal with, and check in/check out was very easy.

The only drawback was the steep walk back from Luz village.

We had the best week staying at Villa Montanha. The pictures perfectly capture how modern and beautiful the villa is. It has everything you need and is close to the beach, shops and restaurants. It is a nice walk to the beach but we always opted for a taxi back to the villa as the hill back up is quite steep. It is very easy to book a taxi through the Bolt app and we only had to wait a few minutes for it to arrive each time. The villa was absolutely spotless and spacious. There were 6 of us (3 couples) and it felt like each couple had their own part of the villa as there were 2 bedrooms downstairs and 2 upstairs with a separate bathroom for each couple. We honestly could not fault anything in the villa and cannot thank Joanne and the team enough for being so helpful. Any question we had was quickly answered, the check in and check out process couldn't have been easier and we felt right at home from the beginning. Thank you so much Joanne 😊 If we return to Praia da Luz in the future, we will absolutely be booking Villa Montanha!

So clean

Quiet location on the outskirts of Luz , very clean and plenty of space for 8people.

25min walk down the steep hill to the centre (12%) and a 40min back to the Villa. Garden was in a very poor condition, no grass on area around the pool. There’s an old crane being stored just the on the other side of the fence at the bottom of the garden. 6 sun loungers, 6 outside chairs for the table outside, but properly sleeps 8.

Lovely big rooms and an amazing pool area. Everything you might need in the kitchen and very clean

Bit further than a 10 minute walk to the beach but a pleasant one. No air-con but lots of fans available

Large and spacious villa. Fabulous upstairs terrace with comfortable seating and views over Luz to the sea. The swimming pool is large and gets the sun all day. There’s a pool table and table football to keep the teenagers entertained. The location is very peaceful and we all enjoyed walking to Luz but it is quite a steep hill on the way back.

No walk in shower in any bathroom. The driveway is long and narrow so although there is room for several cars they’ll all be parked in a row. (Plenty of on street parking available if needed)
