Villa Alma

Good location & easy to in/out highway !

Villa Alma is ideally located for visiting Puglia. There are many wonderful villages within one hour drive. There is also a mall "bariblue" nearby. A small beach "Baia San Giorgio" can be reached by foot. Otherwise our favorite beach in the area was "Pane e pomodoro" where there is also a playground for children. The biggest advantage of Villa Alma are the big balcony to relax and the courtyard where the children played. The host were really friendly and helpful. Good communication.

There was few items to watch for small children: the door to the stair cannot be closed. Some electrical outlets are within easy reach.

The owne is helpful and nice person. The apartament is quite big with kitchen well equiped with most needed things. There is possibility to take bus to the city or walk about 10 km (if you do not have a car). Shops with foood are available with walking distance (about 4-5 km walk) or you can go by bus few stops.

Noisy area, very close to a big road which is causing constant noise during the night (if you sleep with an open window). We selected the place because of bikes, that was confirmed with the owner that we will have 2 bikes for riding. Unfortunatelly bikes are in awful condition: rusted chain, torn material on the saddle, brake cable falling off, and a screw blocking bicycle tire when riding. So we gave up after few meters and was very dissapointed as it was our main gooal to visit the area with bikes. Also fungus on the wall in the kitchen (but the kitchen and appartment was clean besides this)
