Papaya Villa central Sanur

Good location. We had difficulty finding the villa as there was no number or Villa name. Beds were comfortable. Air con and fans were excellent. Bill, the owner, was very keen to make sure our stay was pleasurable. He recommended a local doctor for one of our group. Thanks Bill. The pool was clean. The outdoor lounge cushions were wet and mouldy. Bill did change the covers when we reported this.

The main bedroom ensuite had very bad stink coming from the drain which prevented the bathroom being used on some days. The shower cubicle tiles needed better cleaning. Not up to standard.

Lovely villa with comfy beds, clean, well appointed. Pool very refreshing and plenty of sun lounges. Loved the little touches of a stocked fridge with essentials as well as tea, coffee and breakfast condiments. We were met by the Manager Bill and he was so helpful with info about the villa and tips for restaurants and finding our way around Sanur. Fabulous location, walking distance to everything but still very quiet. Thankyou for a lovely stay 😁😁

Excellent location, the shops and beach are a short walk away. Some lovely cafes only minutes away. The villa had everything you needed. Roomy and homely. Great pool. Bill was a fab host.

The villa was clean and close to many restaurants

Size and space of the property 3bedroom all with there own shower and toilet, plus extra toilet and shower outside if using the pool saves walking through the property wet, also had own washing machine and room to hang clothes out of the weather! Plus still good distance from Main Street and beach

We stayed at Papaya villa for one week. It was a very unpleasant stay. Everything is very old, mouldiness in the bathrooms, terrible smell. The swimming pool was dirty and had broken tiles. I wrote it to the owner and he said “I don't want you in my villa”!!! I wish we could leave but it was late evening and I’m with a 4month baby. I told him we will leave after he refunds us. He came drunk at 23:30, we were already in bed. Just opened the door with his keys and start telling we need to go now. We started making video and I said I will call police. Then he left, but I couldn’t sleep because thought he might come back. Next day he refunded us one night and we moved to a hotel. I attach the screenshots of the messages he sent, photos of the villa and will try to attach video of his midnight visit.

Bill is very nice host. Every room have a shower and wc room, its really nice. good location. quiet place, 2-3 minutes walk to the main street. villa is cleaned every day. staff is very friendly. i highly recommend this villa and Bill.

the villa needs some cosmetic repairs

Spacious and clean villa in a quiet neighborhood, 15 minutes walk from the sea. Aircons in every room, daily cleaning services. Solid beds, no noise, good night's sleep. Welcome pack, thank you, William!

Just a warning: remove every open foodstuff from the kitchen, for these tiny ants would find their way into it. But this is typically Indonesian fauna)

Close to Main Street, quiet area, big pool, big bedrooms with tvs, very comfortable

Location was great, and the owner was friendly. Air con was clean and new.

The interior of the house was a bit run down and the furnitures not in the best conditions.
