Please inform The Peninsula Experience in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. A damage deposit of AUD 350 is required. The host charges this 14 days before arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Please note that there is a 3% charge when you pay with an American Express credit card. Please note the following for the Peninsula House: When booking for 2 guests, you will have access to 1 bedroom only. When booking for 3-4 guests you will have access to the second bedroom. When booking for 5-6 guests you will have access to all 3 bedrooms.

The Peninsular is a spectacular house in a fabulous location. The decor is comfortable and stylish, with everything well thought out. Lots of unexpected extras and a quiet and peaceful spot.

Stunning property.!! We have stayed in quite a few Airbnbs and The Cape House offers amazing attention to detail when it comes to the facilities they have thought of pretty much everything. Very comfortable, with quality amenities we felt instantly relaxed and at home.

We loved the peace and are more than happy to cook but some people may find it a bit too isolated Ie there are not many options for restaurants if you don’t like to cook. Also TV watchers may yearn for a more comfy couch set up.

The outlook, the walks and the animals that come to visit at night.

The township doesn't offer much. Alot of dining options are only open Thursday to Saturday.

Tastefully appointed home and very well appointed to a high standard. Our hosts left the heating on, along with entrance lights to make us feel welcome. They also provided bread, butter, jams, delicious Tasmanian apples, milk, and a few other items. Pantry was neatly stocked with the basics and I think we added to it as well. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked with baking dishes etc. Great spot for entertaining, except we were there for a quiet long weekend. We intend to visit again and will be far more organised to meet our foodie and wine demands and pick up items from the Hobart fish market and a deli/wine shop. The local IGA has base level stock, the IGA in Huonville is better stocked. Cant wait to visit again soon.
