My family and I (6 of us in total) had such a happy and comfortable stay in this beautiful villa. Located just a 3 minute drive from Gaios and a 5 minute walk from a lovely little beach near Mongonisi where I could go for morning swims, it is tastefully and comfortably appointed, quiet and very pretty. The 5 bedrooms were all comfortable and quiet (except for a local cockerel who tended to crow at night!) with a coffee machine in each room, the kitchen well-equipped, the outdoor seating area at the front was where we tended to eat (rather than the area at the back next to the kitchen). We had a gorgeous, restful and happy 10 days in this lovely villa. I can highly recommend.

This is a beautiful old cottage house, surrounded by big olive trees and quite spacious, as it may accommodate 10 or even 12 people with adequate privacy. There are plenty of verandas and outdoor sitting spaces to choose from, depending on the time of day, while the pool is of sufficient size and naturally shaded to a large extent after midday. All bedrooms are air-conditioned, however shared spaces (living room, kitchen) are not, posing a problem if one would like to cook in a summer day.

Wi-fi reception is generally poor throughout the house and virtually non-existent in outdoor spaces, as the only router is based in the non-airconditioned living room - the situation could easily benefit from the addition of some wi-fi extenders. What is actually degrading the otherwise lovely house is the rather amateurish approach by the owners. At an asking price of 5k per week, it is at least unusual to not offer a cleaning service (plus towel & linen change), especially bearing in mind that this is a house with a shared kitchen and a pool, potentially accommodating multiple families with kids. Our request for at least a single cleaning visit at the midpoint of our week-long stay was denied on the basis of the house ‘not being a hotel’ and thus not providing hotel services. Hotel or no hotel, we found this unreasonable and inconsistent with its price tag, not to mention other oddities (no shower gel or shampoo to take a bath, no olive oil or even salt to cook, 1 toilet paper per family etc) that ultimately left us with a bitter taste.

Great facilities. The layout of the property is great with lovely decoration. All rooms are ensuite and there is a large pool.

The living room doesn’t have air con it would be useful to have a fan. We couldn’t leave the doors open as the cats / kittens kept entering.

The location was perfect close to Gaios, beautiful house set in old olive trees. Loved the pool area and was great having so many different outdoor seating areas. Perfect house to share with another family.
