Very clean and beautiful apartment. Location is nice but there is no parking space.

We arrived late at midnight and to my surprise my booking was cancelled by the host even though I provided my arrival time in advance. But got sorted out when we reached the place. Wifi is slow in one of the bedrooms.

Die Unterkunft / das Schlafzimmer liegt direkt an einer viel befahrenen Strasse was etwas unruhige Nächte mit sich brachte. Hier gilt anzumerken dass gemäss Hotelpersonal aufgrund einer Baustelle der Gesamtverkehr durch die erwähnte Strasse umgeleitet wurde. Somit wird sobald die Baustelle fertig gestellt ist dieser „negative“ Punkt hoffentlixh entfallen.

IKIA was a beautiful, spacious and clean villa. The owners were so good to supply everything we needed even transport to and from the airport, for a reasonable fee. WiFi doesn’t work very well in the front bedroom but it does everywhere else. The roof top terrace was so comfortable that I even fell asleep there. The washing machine was very handy. A little difficult to understand settings but after initial load it did well. We are accustomed to a dryer and not hanging to dry, so we would wash at night and hang out to dry that night and next day. If you wash during the day be aware the electricity turns off when you take the card out, which is attached to the door key, so it isn’t able to run when you leave and take card/key with you. These are just minor details because the view and the villa are totally worth it.

We would 100% stay here again. The little extras in this place are terrific. Robes, slippers, toiletries, full kitchen, cold refreshments in the fridge, instant coffee, Bluetooth speaker, extra pillows and blankets, usb ports by the bed, dimmable lighting, reusable grocery bags and a massive rooftop terrace. Also. It's just an 8 minute walk to the bussling shops, restaurant, grocery store and incredible sunset.

The pictures of the terrace are a little misleading. There's a lack of privacy but I think this is common in Santorini unless you book a place at the very top of a hill! Also, you are situated next to a fairly active street with cars, scooters, and quads driving by quite steadily. We rented a car, and our villa had no designated parking which meant we had to fend for ourselves with finding parking. Having said all that, we give this place a 10/10 and would stay here again, just wanted to be transparent.

A lady met us at the villa with the keys. We were then driven to the reception desk to check in.

Loved the villa, had everything we needed.
