1 bedroom Sculcoates house Hull

It was a lovely place to stay.

It is walking distance to town, 15 minutes, but the walk to town or back at night is along a rough area. Safer get a taxi if you are the nervous type. But location cannot be helped. Also I noticed the neighbour take a photo of me first day I was there from their bedroom window which was weird. Must of had dodgy guests in the past.

Not a lot

Bad location. Poor quality fixtures and fittings. Terriblly uncomfortable cheap springy matresss with no headboard. Dirty old oven. Constant smell of cigarette smoke from neighbouring properties. Lots of other people's hair on the carpets. Pubic hairs on the bed sheet (I had to buy my own bed sheet to sleep on). Lots of shouting and loud talking from neighbours from early morning to late in the night

Place was ideal for my requirements at the time

Could not find a hairdryer, but maybe did not look hard enough as place was well equipped.

The cleanliness and quietness of the apartment makes me wanner come back.

Nothing

The house was clean and the use of the kitchen facilities was great for saving money on having to have takeaways all the time. Nicely presented Bedroom & bathroom. Not having to meet the owners made arrival and leaving easier - especially if you have anxieties.

The television and sofas in the room were low down, not ideal for people with knee or hip problems. The stair are steep ( as expected ), and adjacent to the bedroom, the matching curtain instead of a door made me a little uneasy - fortunately I don't sleep walk or get totally drunk. No Tv in the bedroom was a bit of a pain.

My stay was excellent

There was everything there that I needed, and it was in a good quiet location, but near to shops & takeaways
