Casa Melita

The property was a beautiful traditional limestone home full of character and charm, giving us a genuine Maltese experience. The location was excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the main bus depot, making it easy to explore anywhere on the island, with supermarkets, convenience stores, and cafés close by. The host was exceptionally responsive, checking in to make sure we had settled in comfortably and quickly attending to anything we needed.

The only small issue we encountered was that one of the showers was a little difficult to use without getting water on the bathroom floor. Other than that, everything was excellent and we had a very enjoyable stay.

Loved the location and the feel of the property. The host was very kind and left us a ‘welcoming pack’ which saved us rushing to the shops as soon as we arrived. He left bread, milk and other basic necessities.

The internet wifi was slow and struggled to connect.

The town of rabat and the street was great.

The house was not very clean. There was dust hanging off the walls in the double bedroom. The floors were not very clean and had to sweep out and mop all the floors.the toilet seat was broken. The ironing board was so old and insufficient.The irons eletric cable was twisted and close to being a danger. The shower in the main bathroom had no curtain, rendering it unusable. The cooker was old outdated and needed to be lite with matches. So we never used it. I know the description did not mention air-conditioning. But this house as a holiday let in the summer really really needs air-conditioning. The bedrooms were like sleeping in an oven. It is a nice house, and we did have a good holiday it just needs some needs modern comforts to make it a more enjoyable space to holiday in.

Authentic town house in historic Rabat. Excellent communication and responsive host. On quiet, pedestrianised street. 15 mins walk to Mdina and central location to explore Malta.

Loved the location and the quiet peaceful location. So near restaurants etc. Renovation done well

Only thing was that at end of November it was cold and could have done with better heaters

The situation in Rabat is fantastic. A comfortable house for 2. 4 would be the max really.

Slightly claustrophobic if you are used to having outside space.

Property would benefit from air conditioning
