Taman Kesari Villas

Breakfast prepared for us each morning in the villa was delicious and lovely. Comfy beds and pillows, beautiful private space to relax, and an easy walk to good warungs and the Main Street. Juni was a wonderful host and made our stay fantastic.

Very friendly staff. The helped with everything. Also the villa was nice, good pool and excellent AC.

After first day we didn’t get water out of taps/showers, and we had to move to another villa. I had to pay extra, even it was same size, because the extra living room was a bedroom in this new villa. There was also a mouse running around every day.

These villas were gorgeous. The rooms were spotless, clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were spacious and well laid out. We loved the indoor and outdoor living spaces and the privacy we had. Even better the pool water was cool which was bliss after being in other hotels where the pool water was Alamos the same as the outside temperature. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The freshly prepared breakfast each morning was also fantastic. The villas are in a great location to access the shops, beach and restaurants.

Positives: Beautiful villas and the pool was refreshing with partial shade. The ladies came to the villa to make us breakfast in the morning n u choose the next day’s breakfast. The full fridge/freezer is great n there are 2 stubby holders in freezer. They supply a drinking fountain using the Aqua brand water with instant cold/hot water so u can always refill your water bottles. The a/c is great in the bedrooms. They have plug in mosquito repellents and just ask them for the mosquito coils (no sign of any mosquitos). It is a quick 5 min walk to Main Street and maybe 15 min to beach where we had dinner 2 nights n then had dinner at Forketta the last night on Main Street (yum)! We took a 10 min walk each morning to grab a cappuccino b4 brekky. It’s literally a $2 cab fare (bluebird taxi only) to get back to Villa in the evening. If u want a cab thru the day the girls at reception will call u one. We used google maps for finding places, so easy.

Negatives: When having a shower/or using the basin, or the outside shower the drains smell putrid! The outside tiles are dangerously slippery, so before anyone goes in the pool ask reception for 4 extra beach towels and place them strategically from pool to your rooms and kitchen area or someone may slip and ruin their holiday. The alleyway is very dark around Villa so safer to just use taxi to get home at night. They have security sometimes but he certainly wasn’t there all the time as we were told he would be. And reception is closed by 4pm daily so if u need anything bad luck for you. Would I stay there again: Yes I would. They’re good value for money, lovely Balinese feel, friendly helpful staff and central.

Fantastic staff, extremely friendly and helpful. Great location, 5 mins walk to main road. Close to all restaurants, bars and shops.

The staff were really friendly. The air conditioning was nice and cold and rooms were a good size.

The towels were all a bit threadbare and would benefit having new ones. The mosquito/midges were quite bad around the living area.

Fabulous pool the staff were awesome very friendly the breakfast was very good every day and the Villa was cleaned to a very high standard it was only five minutes walk to the main road For shopping and some very good restaurants I would definitely recommend.
