Villa Adyashanti Ubud ~Private, Peaceful Sanctuary

The peace and solitude. Watching the sunrise over the jungle. The incredible views. The fireflies that came to visit us every evening. The unique layout, lots of spaces to sit and chill. The well equipped kitchen. The small rice field as we walked to the property. Also if you’re adventurous, this street holds many hidden delights, Warungs and a delish cafe within 2 mins walk.

Although there were lots of beautiful communal spaces to sit, they were all open air. Finding comfort amongst the mosquitos and hot weather made it difficult to enjoy the beautiful spaces fully. Many times we all withdrew to our private bedrooms to escape the heat and bugs defeating the purpose of all the wonderful spaces created. Communication wasn’t seamless and it was difficult to find the villa. The address did not match goggle maps, so map to the villa not the address. No instructions for how to enter the property until after we arrived and the keys to our private rooms were moved with no notification of how to find them until I reached out when we were locked out. Also the road was under major construction, obviously not the responsibility of the owner, however it did affect our stay and it’s good to note when considering booking. Not a big issue if you have a motor bike, but we were a family and our driver was not able to even drive down the street a couple of times and we had to walk with our things up the street a few times to meet him.

Too many rodents and lizards thanks to the location close to the paddy field. With close to 50 lizards in the ceiling we could not eat. Had to move table

The home was incredible. It was a little cold to swim but the view was beautiful. The rooms are huge and the AC runs cold. The host was responsive and our family loved the indoor/outdoor feel of this home.

A little far from tourist areas and not a lot of food options nearby without having to walk 10+ mins.

Massive villa. Lots of room.

Area is a bit too secluded for my liking. Swimming pool was a bit dirty but also raining a bit so we didn't get to enjoy as much as we had wanted. Definitely a good place if you have more people

Nous avons passé 6 nuits magiques dans cette splendide villa. Les petits déjeuners étaient délicieux, l'entretien quotidien était au dessus de nos attentes, l'attention pour l'anniversaire de notre maman, la bouée dans la piscine pour les enfants, tout était parfait. Des pépites se trouvent à deux pas pour le dîner du soir, il suffit juste d'être curieux. Et sinon, En voiture on est tout prêt du centre d'Ubud. Les petits visiteurs du soir nous ont créé nombre de fous rire ! On remercie mille fois Erna et toute son équipe.

Rien, mais si vous n'aimez pas les petites bêtes ne venez pas dans la jungle, ça va avec ! Pour nous c'était top et pourtant les filles de la famille sont des trouillardes ;)
