Bali Harmony Villa

Pool was lovely, the view from the pool of the rice fields was stunning! Our Villa was perfect for us - kitchen to cook in, large bedroom, sitting area. We were very happy there and would go back. Off the main road so nice and quiet but close to everything.

A bit of a steep step getting into and out of the pool. I have a bad knee so I had to be extra careful getting in and out.

Très bien situé, au calme avec une belle vue sur les rizières et les montagnes. On se sent dans un village, bien loin de l’agitation d’Ubud et de ses bouchons perpétuels. Très propre, le personnel est courtois et discret. Belle piscine où l’on peut vraiment nager. Séjour parfait.

The Location was perfect. About 3 Kms out from the main part of the town, which was a cheap motorbike ride away. the peace and quiet was welcomed. The Villa was light and airy and the view onto the fields was amazing, especially the Volcano on Sunrise. The pet ducks in the fields were a treat to watch. The properly whilst small and out of the way has an excellent pool and well kept gardens. The corner Villa we were in (2 bedroom) was private. Geekos in the room - not a problem, the are mainly on the roof structure and those who venture close, scurry away quickly No Air Con - not an issue, the fans are more than enough given there was a good breeze throughout our stay (early AUG) Open Air Construction - Yes the room is not 'sealed' so insects and geekos roam. There was limited mosquitos and there's nets over the beds. The fans seem to do the trick regardless, and their bite is small (compared to Aussie mozzies).

The kitchen had all the equipment and tools needed to cook so no issues there, but is slightly run down. Its a minor complaint, didn't cause any issues. The matresses are hard which we weren't used to so there's room for improvement there.

Fantastic helpful cheerful staff, gorgeous compound and gardens, pool cleverly designed to offer sun and shade with emerald rice views, cooling breeze, sunsets that linger. Nice villa with unfortunately a hard uncomfortable bed. Great private star-gazing deck. Not too many rooster calls and no dogs packs nearby. Hoping for better luck with neighbours next time. Only a few nights I really missed having AC.

As a regular visitor to the island it broke my heart to have the misfortune of chronically loud neighbours behind my villa 2 short metres away- young digital nomads talking at all hours on the open porch and using the pool area as an office, entertaining late into the night regularly. There's no staff around after 4PM and security starts after 7pm. Without a clear and specific noise policy in place in the villa handbook, and enforced about quiet time so others can sleep or relax in peace, and without clear guidelines for the obnoxious and sadly increasing zoom work call trend, guests careless about disturbing other guests like my neighbours, and other guests pacing the pool deck talking loudly on cell phones, oblivious to those trying to have a peaceful swim, this lovely special place with open walls and 5 very close proximity villas will be vulnerable, and ruined stays like mine will continue. Perhaps a bubbling water feature between all villas might help, along with specific noise guidelines. It would have otherwise been a perfectly harmonious stay in an extraordinarily beautiful compound with the other wonderful international neighbours.

The views of the rice paddies is exceptional. And it is a great pool with great views. Very comfortable.

You need to have transport as it is out of town and the traffic can be bad. A motor bike would be best. We struggled looking for transport each day.
