Great location, quiet with spectacular views and grounds

Very steep hill climb from seafront, but you can't do anything about that

We did not have the use of the TV throughout our stay as it was not working. We were looking forward to watching the TV and feel we should be recompensed as it was not in use. The location wasn’t ideal, there were no restaurants or shops nearby nor any entertainment venues within walking distance and bus stops were a 10-15 minutes walk away. The location was very hilly and roads are steep and so we were unable to walk to bus stops so needed to use taxis which proved expensive. A small basket of food and drink essentials would have been appreciated upon arrival as there are no nearby shops to buy them from within walking distance. Also there were no wash tabs supplied for washing machine. We arrived after a weeks stay elsewhere so needed to use the washing machine upon arrival and there are no shops within walking distance to buy them from so a few wash tabs would have been useful. The electric kettle needs replacing as it did not shut off upon boiling so all the water boils away. A rubber bath mat is needed in the bath in upstairs bathroom as it is dangerously slippy when using the shower. The shower in the downstairs bathroom needs attention as it wouldn’t stay on it’s fitting correctly so we couldn’t use it. The stairs to level 2 are precarious and will not suit elderly guests or those with walking difficulties. Good communication with host.

Our host Asole was really helpful.

The apartment is up a steep hill quite a way from the town although we did find three good restaurants nearby and a supermarket.
