Yellow House Ithaca

Lovely lovely house - we won't hesitate to stay again! It was very comfortable and we spent an equal amount of time enjoying the pool at the back and the view of the harbor at the front terrace. You can walk anywhere in Vathy from the house. My daughter also left a personal item, that though it didn't cost much, was priceless to her. The host was very helpful in looking for it and she made arrangements to mail it to us.

Great location with a beautiful view of Vathi harbour from the terrace at the front of the property which is bathed in morning sunshine. The pool, terrace and garden at the rear of the property gives privacy and is bathed in afternoon sunshine. As a couple we would eat at the numerous harbour restaurants but should you wish to cook the kitchen is well appointed.

Mattress was a little firm for our liking.

Loved sitting on the terrace enjoying the view of Vathy below. Very well equipped. Host very responsive when we needed additional towels. It’s an older house of course but very clean. We would certainly stay again.

Not an issue but more a comment that the beds are very firm. May not suit everyone.

Having been twice it now feels like a home from home! A wonderful location and the most amazing view from the large front terrace. At the rear its a sun trap, perfect for lazing on the sunbeds and dipping in the lovely pool… It has everything you need, extremely comfortable, clean and cosy! We will return soon and no doubt many times over the coming years! Thank you to the brilliant host, Anna! David & Bev - and family…🙏🏼

Maybe the 3rd bedroom could be a little less child like, although no real problem…

Stunning, beautiful family house with amazing views and everything you need and more. Large social front terrace to relax on and take in the views as well as pretty private rear garden with pool. Perfect location just a few minutes walk down into town which has everything you need including great bars and restaurants and a lovely vibe. There are also plenty of lovely beaches in the area and you can hire boats or book trips from the marina. We all said we would definitely come back - we only had 3 nights and didn’t want to leave!

It was all amazing!! The stunning view over Vathi bay was breathtaking. The lovely authentic design and interior of the house. The feel of being in a spacious home where you could just go and live for months. The well equipped kitchen with a lot of basic ingredients for cooking. The high quality of the outdoor furniture. The fact that there are two terraces on each side of the house, so you always have a place to sit in the shades and can choose to loose yourself in the view of the bay or get some cozy privacy in the idyllic green back garden. The amazing swimming pool with outdoor shower which you can access through all the bedrooms and also from outside. The fruit trees and butterflies in the garden and the roaster that wakes you up in the morning to watch the beautiful village come alive from the balcony. And last but not least the sweet host Anna who made us feel welcome.

Beautiful view pool a huge bonus as all beaches are a fair distance .lovely olde worldly feel. Enjoyed the outdoor shower amongst the lavenders. Lovely patio overlooking the bay There is one bathroom but also an additional toilet washroom which together with the outside shower makes it easier for families.
