Villa Aloe - PlusHolidays

The property is very spacious with a nice terrace near the swimming pool. The room upstairs also has a spacous terrace with awesome view.

There were a lot of annoying mosquitos on the terrace in the evening/at night. Our products from the pharmacy didn't help very much against it.

Decent size for six adults , pool area facilities great , plenty of quiet shaded spaces for anyone wanting a bit of alone time , crucial AC units were excellent and ensured a good nights sleep ,10 min walk to a couple of supermarkets.

Could be doing with an extra shower as six adult using one shower one after each other was a bit time consuming , fridge struggled a bit to keep the food as cool as it needs to be - freezer fine , a few raised tiles around the pool area could catch unsuspecting toes.

Beautiful villa with great swimming pool, great views of Calpe. Veranda was a bonus for the fireworks and relaxing on a evening with stunning views of Calpe rock.

Electric kept switching off two to three a day unable to cope with more than one appliance at a time.

Spacious

The pool area was a nightmare not cleaned or swept on arrival. Garden overgrown and weeds coming through patio area.. huge issue with trees overlapping the pool.. No water or welcome pack.. I am so relieved we did not arrive at night. Electricity cuts out all the time which makes cooking a nightmare Problem with dishwasher this was resolved by the letting company within hours. I don’t feel this is value for the money we paid

we have just returned from a 2 week stay in villa aloe. Lovely! The pool is great. Yes there are overhanging trees that drop debris into the pool but we cleaned the pool with the net in the morning and the pool person came and did a proper job twice a week. The outside bbq and eating area is great and cover is welcome from sun. The air conditioning keep us cool during the night and when we needed to escape the heat during the day. The beds are super comfortable. We had a problem with the dishwasher and someone came out a few hours later and we had a replacement dishwasher the following morning. great location in a quiet residential area. 15 mins to walk into the old town.

The TV was too small for the large room. It is also very old. You would expect a smart TV in 2023 when you are paying so much for the villa. You don’t go on holidays to watch TV but sometimes you need to escape the heat or just chill out in the evening. The path to the car port is overgrown and needs to be cleared and maintained. There was no information left in the villa about where we were staying. It would have been useful to get information about how to recycle eg location of bins and what the different colours mean, what amenities are in the area eg bakeries, restaurants and beaches and events taking place locally.

Very nice villla on the outskirts of Calpe. Great space. Excellent upstairs terrace and pool area. Double bedroom downstairs is incredibly roomy with a couch.

There's no door on the upstairs bedroom. It's the only room on that floor so might not matter for some.
